Abstract

This article aims to record the development of literature on religious moderation and its efforts to prevent radicalism. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which is a method of collecting several articles, identifying, analyzing data, and conducting a critical review of the collected research data. The results of this study are known that the development of religious moderation studies to eradicate radicalism has been limited over the past five years. Previous researchers tend to develop more literature studies, while field research is only centralized in educational institutions. Two tendencies of researchers examine this topic, namely first the study of texts or narratives, the existing research dismantles radical ideas that are veiled in society through counter-religious texts. Second, in the field, researchers agree that educational institutions are a potential forum for the spread of radical understanding. In the future, the authors can conduct further investigations on the empirical spread of radicalism among young people, especially social media users.TRANSLATE with x EnglishArabicHebrewPolishBulgarianHindiPortugueseCatalanHmong DawRomanianChinese SimplifiedHungarianRussianChinese TraditionalIndonesianSlovakCzechItalianSlovenianDanishJapaneseSpanishDutchKlingonSwedishEnglishKoreanThaiEstonianLatvianTurkishFinnishLithuanianUkrainianFrenchMalayUrduGermanMalteseVietnameseGreekNorwegianWelshHaitian CreolePersian //  TRANSLATE with COPY THE URL BELOW Back EMBED THE SNIPPET BELOW IN YOUR SITE Enable collaborative features and customize widget: Bing Webmaster PortalBack//

Abstract

Abstract

The Acehnese in various regions face the challenge of reconciling Islamic teachings with local cultural realities. Addressing religion-based conflicts is particularly difficult because local cultures often contain norms and traditions that differ from Islamic teachings. This research aims to explore how the dynamics of conflict and consensus in fiqh siyasah shape the cultural life of the Acehnese. The research consolidates previous studies using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The findings indicate that the practice of siyasah jurisprudence is highly relevant in fostering social solidarity and tolerance. Local traditions and customs hold deep significance for the Acehnese community; however, conflicts often arise due to differences in approaches and interpretations of Islamic law, leading to tension, mistrust, and suspicion among individuals. Presently, religion-based conflicts are mediated solely by Sharia courts, raising concerns as the prevailing consensus favors a socio-cultural approach. Such resolution methods generate diverse perspectives, as decisions made by customary institutions may not endure in a dynamic socio-cultural context. Although the Acehnese community firmly adheres to a culture-based approach, religious issues remain difficult to compromise. These findings imply a need for harmonization between local customs and interpretations of Islamic law to reduce conflict.

Abstract

Nowadays, consumers are increasingly aware and concerned about halal status, and activities in the supply chain are truly halal guaranteed for them to buy. This article aims to explore the development of halal logistics, analyze the opportunity and challenge factors in its development stage, and create a best practice scheme to realize halal integrity. This research method uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using secondary data from several previous studies discussing halal logistics and halal integrity in the supply chain. From this study, it is known that countries in Southeast Asia have shown a positive response to the existence of a halal logistics scheme as an innovation in the supply chain. Several opportunities known for the development of halal logistics mainly lie in the high demand for halal products, the positive growth of the sharia economy, the use of information technology, and the strengthening of the halal ecosystem. Meanwhile, regarding challenges, there needs to be a special regulation regulating halal logistics, common stakeholder knowledge about halal, a need for more experts and researchers, and the absence of a particular infrastructure that handles halal products. In the end, the author develops a halal integrity scheme in the supply chain with a logistics management approach. This article can better understand halal integrity in the supply chain. Further research can empirically test the relationship between logistics management and halal integrity.

Abstract

This study analyzes the changes to Law no. 16 of 2019 on Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning the age limit of marriage. There are various responses in society, socio-cultural clashes and even religion cannot be avoided, where this situation is increasingly difficult to achieve the goal of marriage. This raises the question, why is it necessary to rearrange the age limits for marriage, and what background causes it? This study uses the maqasid sharia approach with the System theory of Jasser Auda. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using the maqasid sharia approach. The object of study is Law no. 19 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. This study uses secondary data from two sources. First, the primary source is taken from the text of the Law and the Decision of the Constitutional Court. Second, secondary sources such as books, journals, reports, magazines, newspapers, and so on. Then the data are interpreted and analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that the determination of changes to the law regarding the age limit for marriage can be classified into the interests of al-dharurriyah (primary), which are important and must be fulfilled to achieve the goals of sharia, namely safety. The analysis of maqasid sharia with six subsystem features explains that protected interests are closely related, which are related to one another, representing age differences in marriage, which is a form of discrimination. The scope of the provisions on the age limit for marriage is classified as maqasid ‘ammah, because it covers all the interests of women in Indonesia. Also, as maqasid khassah, legal protection from the fulfillment of basic rights and constitutional rights as citizens. The level of dharuriyah does not always have the implication of obligatory syar'i (causing sin) but only until obligatory hukm (must), because the legal provisions are explored by mujtahids and are based on the absence of qat'y texts on this issue.

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of Rah Ulee and Peulheuh Kaoy rituals at the tomb of Habib Muda Seunagan in Nagan Raya, Aceh, as a manifestation of cultural and religious acculturation between Islam and local traditions. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach through library research and field observation. Data were collected from books, journals, local articles, and interviews with the caretakers and community members around the tomb. The findings indicate that the Rah Ulee ritual, which involves symbolic washing of the head with sanctified water, and Peulheuh Kaoy, the act of releasing vows (nazar), are understood by the local community as forms of tawassul—seeking blessings through righteous figures. These practices are not merely cultural but have been integrated into the spiritual and social fabric of Acehnese Islam. While some religious groups perceive these rituals as deviations from Islamic orthodoxy, many locals consider them expressions of reverence and continuity of spiritual heritage rooted in Sufism, particularly the Syattariyah order introduced by Habib Muda Seunagan. Thus, these rituals exemplify how Islamic teachings and Acehnese culture coexist harmoniously through a process of acculturation that strengthens community identity and religious devotion.
