This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Experience and Social Media Marketing on purchasing decisions for beauty products among Shopee e-commerce users in Sukabumi. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. The sample consists of 96 respondents, determined using Cochran's formula. Data were collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, t-test (partial), and F-test (simultaneous), with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that Brand Experience (X1) has a positive and significant partial effect on purchasing decisions (Y) for beauty products on Shopee in Sukabumi (t-value 5.386 > t-table 1.986; sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Social Media Marketing (X2) also has a positive and significant partial effect on purchasing decisions (t-value 5.234 > t-table 1.986; sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Abstract

Human resource (HR) development is a crucial pillar in driving the social and economic progress of society, particularly through participatory approaches at the local level. This article aims to describe the implementation and analyze the impact of a community service program titled “Human Resource Capacity Development through Community-Based Management Training”. The primary problem underlying this activity is the managerial limitations faced by micro-entrepreneurs, such as a low understanding of business planning, financial management, and marketing strategies. The implementation method utilized a participatory and need-based approach, conducted on January 24, 2026, for a community of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) actors. The stages of the activity included preparation (needs identification), training implementation through interactive classes (lectures, discussions, case studies, and simulations), as well as evaluation and follow up. The results of the activity show a significant increase in participants' knowledge and practical skills, particularly in developing business plans, simple financial recording, and structured decision-making. Furthermore, this training successfully strengthened social capital in the form of cooperation and trust among community members. Despite constraints such as varying levels of participant understanding, this program proved to be an effective community empowerment model capable of enhancing the independence and competitiveness of HR at the local level.

Abstract

Empowering the younger generation through entrepreneurship education is a strategic effort to foster independence and enhance the competitiveness of human resources. However, entrepreneurial interest among senior high school students remains relatively low due to limited understanding of business concepts and a lack of practical experience. This community service activity aimed to empower students of SMA Plus Al-Manshuriyah through Business Model Canvas (BMC) training as an effort to stimulate entrepreneurial interest. The activity was conducted in one day, on August 25, 2025, using participatory and applicative methods, which included stages of preparation, training, practice and mentoring, and evaluation. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of entrepreneurship concepts and the nine elements of the Business Model Canvas. In addition, students demonstrated increased creativity, active participation, self-confidence, and interest in designing and developing business ideas independently. Therefore, Business Model Canvas training proved to be effective as a means of strengthening entrepreneurship education and empowering senior high school students.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of science and technology requires students to have the ability to process and analyze research data systematically, accurately, and using technology. However, the results of observations of students in the Management Study Program at Linggabuana University PGRI Sukabumi indicate that data analysis skills using SPSS still need improvement, especially in instrument testing, selection of analysis techniques, and interpretation of statistical output. This Community Service activity aims to improve students' competence, independence, and digital statistical literacy through SPSS-based training. The implementation method uses a participatory-educational approach through hands-on training, which includes needs observation, material preparation, direct practice training, data analysis assistance, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The activity was carried out on May 3 and 10, 2026, involving 150 students. The evaluation results showed an increase in participant competence, with an average achievement of 83.4% in the good category, especially in aspects of presentation of analysis results, validity and reliability tests, and use of SPSS. In addition, there was an increase in the ability to interpret output and independence in research data analysis. This activity has proven effective in enhancing data analysis skills and supporting the improvement of students' research proposals and theses in a more systematic and data-driven manner.
