Abstract

This article examines the development of students’ emotional and spiritual intelligence through leadership education at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. The pesantren implements a comprehensive educational approach that actively involves students in the learning process. Leadership education is carried out through the rayon management organization, entrusted to fifth-grade KMI students equivalent to eleventh-grade senior high school students. As rayon administrators, students assume continuous leadership responsibilities within a dynamic dormitory environment governed by a distinctive disciplinary system. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, the study finds that direct leadership experience enhances emotional intelligence, including emotional regulation, empathy, communication, and conflict resolution. Spiritual intelligence also develops through routine religious practices and the internalization of Islamic values, strengthening students’ emotional–spiritual balance and leadership character.

Abstract

Peralatan medis memerlukan proses maintenance yang teratur agar dapat berfungsi secara optimal dan mendukung kualitas layanan kesehatan. Pada PT Abadi Perkasa Bersama Alkesindo, yang menyediakan dan menyewakan alat medis khusus urologi ke rumah sakit, kegiatan maintenance masih dilakukan secara manual. Proses tersebut sering menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti keterlambatan penanganan, ketidaktepatan pencatatan, serta kesulitan dalam menelusuri riwayat perawatan setiap alat. Kondisi ini menyulitkan admin dan teknisi dalam memonitor status peralatan dan mengoordinasikan tugas perbaikan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web, sistem yang dibangun menyediakan fitur pelaporan kerusakan, pengelolaan data alat, penjadwalan maintenance, serta modul pengaturan tugas teknisi yang mendukung proses pembuatan, pembaruan, dan pemantauan jadwal kerja. Seluruh riwayat perawatan tercatat secara digital dan tersimpan terpusat sehingga mudah diakses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses maintenance, mempercepat alur kerja teknisi, dan menyajikan data yang lebih akurat untuk mendukung operasional perusahaan. Dengan adanya sistem berbasis web ini, pengelolaan maintenance alat medis menjadi lebih terstruktur, terintegrasi, dan mudah dikontrol oleh semua pihak terkait.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed learning patterns among Generation Alpha, who are highly familiar with digital media and interactive learning environments. This condition encourages the need for innovative approaches in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), particularly through Student Centered Learning (SCL). This study aims to analyze the implementation, challenges, and implications of SCL based PAI learning for Generation Alpha in the digital era. The research employed a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were collected through documentation techniques from books, scientific journals, and relevant academic sources, then analyzed using content analysis. The findings indicate that SCL based PAI learning, supported by digital media, gamification, collaborative learning, and project-based learning, can improve students’ motivation, participation, critical thinking, and religious character development. However, challenges remain in teachers’ digital competence, technological facilities, and students’ digital distractions. In conclusion, SCL based PAI learning is an adaptive and effective approach for supporting 21st-century Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of disciplinary values through the reward and punishment approach in Islamic Religious Education learning at junior high schools. This research was motivated by the existence of various disciplinary problems among students, such as tardiness, lack of responsibility in completing assignments, and violations of school regulations. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a multi-site study design conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ponorogo, SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo, and SMP Ma’arif 1 Ponorogo. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that the implementation of reward and punishment in Islamic Religious Education learning had a positive impact on shaping students’ disciplinary character. Rewards were given in the form of praise, verbal appreciation, additional scores, and appreciation for positive behavior, while punishments were applied educatively through warnings, advice, guidance, and educational assignments. In addition, the internalization of disciplinary values was strengthened through positive habituation and teacher role modeling in daily school activities. The consistent implementation of reward and punishment was proven to improve students’ learning motivation, responsibility, and compliance with school regulations. Therefore, reward and punishment can be an effective strategy in developing students’ disciplinary character in junior high schools.
