Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating Canva into Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance students’ creativity in language education contexts. Employing a qualitative literature review combined with descriptive analysis, the research synthesizes findings from empirical studies conducted between 2019 and 2025 across various educational levels, ranging from elementary schools to higher education. The reviewed studies utilized diverse instruments such as observation sheets, creativity tests, interviews, and questionnaires to measure indicators of originality, flexibility, elaboration, and collaboration. Results consistently demonstrate that Canva-based PjBL fosters visual creativity by enabling students to transform abstract ideas into concrete digital products, supports collaboration through real-time co-creation features, and increases motivation by providing professional-quality outputs. Quantitative evidence shows significant improvements in creativity scores and learning outcomes, while qualitative findings highlight positive student perceptions of engagement and confidence. The conclusion emphasizes that combining PjBL with Canva creates a pedagogical synergy that strengthens both cognitive and affective dimensions of creativity, preparing learners for the demands of the digital era. The implication for educators is that user-friendly design platforms can be strategically integrated into curricula to cultivate 21st-century skills, though future longitudinal research is recommended to assess long-term impacts on creative retention and professional readiness

Abstract

Spotify is one of the world's most popular digital audio streaming platforms, offering millions of songs and podcasts that are easily accessible and flexible. Building on this potential, his study aims to investigate the impact of using the Spotify application on students' English listening skills, as well as identify the main benefits and challenges of its implementation. This research adopts a systematic literature review design (Systematic Literature Review) by analyzing empirical studies published within the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction. The review findings show that using Spotify significantly improves listening comprehension (as indicated by a substantial rise in test scores) and is perceived by students as a motivating medium that effectively reduces learning anxiety. However, the identified challenges include unstable internet connections and overly fast speech rates in the audio material. It is concluded that Spotify is a highly effective digital tool for developing listening skills as it bridges students' digital habits with academic needs. The implication is that educators should integrate this platform as a source of authentic language input while designing supportive strategies to overcome technical constraints and select appropriate audio content.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the fast advancement of digital technology, which has influenced English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, with YouTube becoming a popular platform due to its accessibility and audiovisual features. This study aims to investigate students’ perceptions and motivations toward EFL learning through YouTube. A quantitative descriptive method was employed, involving 150 students from the English Education Department. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed through Google Form and analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. The findings reveal that students have positive perceptions of YouTube as a learning medium, with mean scores ranging from 3.85 to 4.21, indicating that YouTube is engaging, accessible, and helpful in understanding learning materials. In addition, YouTube significantly enhances students’ motivation, encouraging them to practice English skills and engage in autonomous learning outside the classroom. These results indicate that YouTube is an effective medium for supporting EFL learning. The study implies that integrating YouTube into teaching practices can create more engaging, flexible, and student-centered learning environments while supporting students’ independent learning.
