Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memotret upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pencegahan dan penanganan stunting di Desa Pong Murung dan Desa Compang Dalo, Kabupaten Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Subjek penelitian meliputi ibu hamil, kader posyandu, perangkat desa, dan masyarakat setempat di kedua desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat telah mengenali kondisi anak bertubuh pendek, namun masih memandangnya sebagai hal yang wajar dan lebih sering dikaitkan dengan faktor genetika dibandingkan masalah gizi kronis. Pemerintah desa bersama kader posyandu telah berupaya melakukan pencegahan dan penanganan melalui pemberian makanan tambahan bergizi, bantuan dana, serta pelayanan kesehatan dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya fenomena menarik dimana masyarakat justru merasa “senang” saat anaknya dikateogirkan sebagai anak stunting karena akan mendapatkan bantuan dari pemerintah. Temuan ini menjadi masukan yang berarti bagi upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga nantinya mampu mengoptimalisasikan program sosialisasi bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

The Sekolah Penggerak Program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia aims to improve the quality of education by accelerating schools to become drivers of positive change. This program focuses on the development of students' literacy, numeracy, and character through training for principals and teachers. Its implementation is carried out through stages of preliminary studies, method identification, workshops, and evaluation. The main challenges in this program include teachers' lack of understanding of the Independent Curriculum and limited facilities. However, ongoing training and support from school leaders are crucial for the program's success. The results show an increase in the competence of teachers and principals in implementing the curriculum, which positively impacts the quality of education and student learning outcomes. This program is expected to be a catalyst for transforming the education system in Indonesia, creating an inclusive and high-quality educational ecosystem.
