Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase students’ speaking skill through method Paired Story Telling at grade IV SDN 4 Cakranegara Academic Year 2015/2016. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data collecting Method used were observation, test and documentation whereas, method of data analysis were descriptive quantitaive and qualitative. Based on data analysis result held in cycle 1, classical mean score was 67 with the number of successful studens were 20 and failed students were 12. Highest score was 75 and the lowest score was 50. So that the classical successful students in cycle 1 was 62,5%. The result of reflection in cycle 1 showed that remedial action in next cycle was required. Based on analysis conducted in cycle 2, the number of successful students were 28 and failed students were 4, with the higherst score was 95 and the lowest score was 60. The classical mean score was 77 with classical successful was 87.5 %. That result showed that the application of method paired story telling could increse speaking skill of grade IV students at SDN 4 Cakranegara Academic Year 2015/2016.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) adalah pendekatan inovatif yang berpusat pada siswa, di mana guru berperan sebagai motivator dan fasilitator. Siswa diberikan proyek yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari atau materi pelajaran, sehingga mereka belajar secara mandiri dengan merumuskan pertanyaan, menyelidiki masalah, dan menemukan solusi sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi atau pengamatan langsung oleh peneliti. Hasil observasi di SDN 31 Mataram menunjukkan pembelajaran masih bersifat teacher-centered dan penggunaan media pembelajaran kurang inovatif, sehingga siswa kurang aktif. Media Smart Box sebagai alat pembelajaran berbentuk kotak dengan kartu materi dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pra siklus terdapat 60% siswa dinyatakan kurang aktif dari 10 sampel siswa. Sedangkan setelah dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan smart box pada siklus I didapatkan data berupa 5 siswa dinyatakan sangat aktif, 2 siswa dinyatakan aktif, dan 3 siswa tidak aktif. Selanjutnya pada siklus II bahwa terdapat peningkatan keaktifan siswa dimana 7 siswa dinyatakan sangat aktif, 2 siswa dinyatakan aktif, dan 1 siswa kurang aktif. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) menggunakan media pembelajaran Smart Box dapat membantu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SDN 31 Mataram.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that requires active community involvement, particularly from women farmer groups that play an important role in household food management. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the existence and group dynamics of the Panca Warna Women Farmer Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani/KWT) in supporting stunting prevention through the utilization of local food resources based on green beans in Sembalun Timba Gading Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency. The implementation was carried out through three stages: preparation and coordination, socialization on strengthening the existence and dynamics of the women farmer group, and socialization on stunting prevention and the utilization of local green beans as a nutritious food source. The materials covered the concept of stunting, the First 1,000 Days of Life, the concept of Diverse, Nutritious, Balanced, and Safe (B2SA) food, the role of women farmer groups as agents of change, group dynamics, and the nutritional potential of green beans as a local food resource. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that the average percentage of correct answers increased from 73% in the pre-test to 91.5% in the post-test, indicating an average improvement of 18.5%. The highest increase was observed in the aspect of group business management, which improved by 40%. These findings demonstrate that the socialization program effectively enhanced participants’ knowledge and strengthened the role of the women farmer group as a driver of local food education and community-based stunting prevention.
