Within the increasingly competitive markets and the rapid changes in business all over the world today, it has become imperative for organizations to reconsider supply chain management (SCM) strategies due to the fact that the same SCM strategy may not appropriate for all organizations. The success of a strategy in a given business does not necessarily mean that it will be successful in others. Therefore, it is always important to explore new and non-traditional strategies for SCM. In the face of this argument, the present study argues for the effective role of Zakat as a support function in SCM. The focus is to illustrate how Zakat can perform an important job in SCM practices from an Islamic economic perspective. Experiences from governmental and non-governmental Zakat organizations in Indonesia are investigated with the purpose of indicating how Zakat, as an Islamic economic principle, can be usefully used in SCM practices. This study finally concludes that Zakat can play an effective role as a successful strategy in SCM. The findings of the study reflect the need to reconsider the concept and functions of different Islamic concepts including Zakat in order to keep up with the changes and challenges of modern societies. The implications of the study can be useful in SCM practices for both Islamic and conventional economies. They can also be considered in countries where Muslims are a minority.

This study analyses the direct relationship of determinantsâ??both intrinsic and extrinsic factorsâ??affecting the selection of MusyÄrakat MutanÄqiá¹£at (MM) house financing products. Intrinsic factors include factors of confidence in sharia compliance value and factors regarding the knowledge level of potential customers. Extrinsic factors include MM product characteristics such as service quality, costs, product benefits and promotions. MM products are emphasised in this study because of their many benefits, including lowering the burden of customersâ?? monthly payloads, a relatively shorter monthly payment period and increased benefits and profits for both banks and customers. Data were collected from 100 MM customers in Malaysia via the Internet (Facebook) and analysed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-SMART PLS) and the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The findings show that only the factors of promotion and religious compliance are significant when selecting MM products; in fact, the influence of promotional factors had a greater impact than the influence of religious compliance. Therefore, Islamic banks are urged to increase their promotional strategies in order to provide information about the role of religious law in selecting Islamic banking products, thus helping customers choose MM products that satisfy their needs while also meeting religious demands.

The relocation of Indonesia's capital from Jakarta to East Kalimantan is a strategic initiative to address critical issues such as traffic congestion, land subsidence, and severe air pollution, highlighting the urgency of enhancing national resilience. This article examines the application of the smart city concept in developing the new Ibu Kota Negara (Nusantara Capital City/IKN), focusing on integrating information and communication technology (ICT), creativity, and community engagement in urban planning while also exploring how these elements can be adapted to IKN and how prospect theory can be leveraged to boost public acceptance. Through a literature review of global smart city implementations, the study finds that applying smart city principles in IKN can significantly improve public service efficiency, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. Prospect theory suggests that well-framed policy communication can increase public support and reduce resistance to change. This research offers valuable insights for policymakers, providing practical recommendations for effective communication strategies and highlighting the importance of adapting the smart city concept to Indonesia's unique socio-economic context to strengthen national resilience.

Increasing income through the Blue Economy concept in developing and empowering coastal communities is an important concern for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia's vast oceans, with various resources and environmental services in coastal and marine areas, have sufficient potential to achieve a level of self-sufficiency in coastal areas. The government has established 2 (two) strategic policies, the Indonesian Maritime Policy (KKI) and the Blue Economic Development Framework, to manage and sustainably utilize the above environmental resources and services well. For this reason, the urgency of dedication to community development and empowerment in order to increase income in the context of survival has an impact on economic improvement. Through this Community Service Program (PkM), the reviewer will try to provide applicable outputs that can be used by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in accordance with the downstream concept, especially in the important activities of community development and empowerment in coastal areas. PkM activities apart from this focus on the lack of MSME business actors in Segarajaya Village, Bekasi, West Java in training and knowledge about business management and marketing, for their home business industry. There were 40 participants in the activity. Apart from providing training and empowerment assistance in increasing knowledge for processing activities, this activity will also provide training on household business management using information technology.

Environmental CSR plays an urgent role in supporting the economic resilience of coastal communities, where livelihoods are deeply intertwined with natural resources. However, the full potential of CSR in these regions has not yet been optimised due to challenges in both environmental management and financial transparency. Coastal communities remain vulnerable to economic fluctuations, making it essential to understand how CSR initiatives can enhance long-term stability. This paper examines the theoretical model of Environmental CSR and financial transparency, exploring how these factors can strengthen the economic resilience of coastal communities. By integrating environmental conservation efforts with transparent financial reporting, CSR can empower communities to manage their resources sustainably and reduce dependency on external forces. This study is one of the few addressing CSR's role in coastal regions, particularly in the context of environmental sustainability and financial management. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for both academic research and practical policy-making, offering a framework for enhancing CSR effectiveness in vulnerable areas. Ultimately, this research aims to contribute to sustainable economic development and community resilience, with a specific focus on coastal regions.
