Abstract

Limbah bungkus buah apel merupakan barang yang tidak terpakai untuk membalut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pemanfaatan limbah bungkus apel sebagai hiasan busana pesta anak kepada masyarakat diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap busana anak yang memanfaatkan limbah bungkus buah apel. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis eksperimen dilakukan di Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya dengan sampel sebanyak 52 mahasiswa Tata Busana angkatan 2020 – 2021 Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. Metode pengumpulan data melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil perbandingan busana anak dengan hiasan dari bungkus buah apel fuji dan busana pesta anak dengan hiasan dari bungkus apel Malang diperoleh dari tabel statistik Independent sample T-test. Jika nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,001< 0,05 dapat dikatakan Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima, dengan bunyi ada hasil pembuatan busana pesta anak dengan hiasan bungkus buah apel. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan baru mengenai pemanfaatan limbah bungkus buah apel sebagai hiasan busana pesta anak. Hasil analisis studi ini yang ditetapkan dengan uji prasyarat serta uji hipotesis menyatakan sebagai berikut : 1) Pembuatan busana pesta anak, 2) hasil jadi busana pesta anak dengan hiasan dari bungkus buah apel fuji, 3) hasil jadi busana pesta anak dengan hiasan bungkus buah apel Malang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the self-confidence of female students at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik and daily make up learning. Self-confidence is an important component in adolescent development, and female students are expected to enhance their self-confidence by learning make up. This study employs a quantitative approach, and data were collected through questionnaires distributed to fifty respondens.to find therelationship between the variables of make up learning and self-confidence, the obtained data were analyzed statistically. The results of the study indicate that make up lessons have a significant positive effect on the self-confidence of female students. Make up lessons resulted in a good level of self-confidence in 74% of respondents. Furthermore the research found that female students with better make up skills tend to have higher self-confidence. These findings suggest that vocational education, which includes practical skill learning such as make up, can aid in the development of students’ character and professionalism. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the development of vocational education curricula, enhance students’ practical skills, and improve their self-confidence in vocational high schools (SMK).
