Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the impact of implementing integrated quality management (TQM) in improving the quality of learning at MTS Al Hidayah. The community service method is used as the main approach, with a focus on designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for teachers and school staff. This approach includes an initial evaluation to identify madrasah needs, designing training programs that are appropriate to the local context, as well as ongoing implementation and monitoring. The research results show that TQM training is effective in improving teacher teaching competence, encouraging the use of formative evaluation, and strengthening transformational leadership in madrasas. Ongoing evaluations show improvements in the physical infrastructure and collaborative school culture. This research contributes to the literature on the implementation of TQM in the context of madrasah education, with practical implications for the development of sustainable educational policies and strategies

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of learning supervision at MTs Miftahul Ulum Cermenan Jombang, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in teacher performance assessment. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews as a method of data collection, involving the principal, supervision team, and several teachers at the school. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of supervision at MTs Miftahul Ulum is carried out in a structured manner twice a year, with the main focus on Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) in the even semester. Supervision is carried out using two techniques, namely direct supervision through classroom observation and indirect supervision through meetings and group discussions between teachers. The main supporting factors are teacher mastery of technology, a conducive school culture, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the existence of a competent supervision team. However, there are several inhibiting factors, such as time constraints, schedule clashes with other activities, and challenges in the readiness of learning devices and student discipline problems. The implications of this study indicate the need to develop a more flexible and data-based supervision system and improve teacher skills in utilizing technology to support the quality of learning. The results of this study can be used as consideration in developing supervision policies and practices in other schools, especially in utilizing technology to improve the effectiveness of supervision and the quality of learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of staffing functions in improving the quality of human resources (HR) at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Kalijaga Pakuncen. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation of the foundation chairperson, madrasah principal, deputy principal for personnel, as well as teachers and educational staff. Data analysis was conducted interactively through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing with validity testing using source and method triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of staffing functions at MA Sunan Kalijaga Pakuncen included participatory human resource planning, internal recruitment and selection based on loyalty and competence, employee placement according to potential, and professional development through continuous training. Although there were obstacles in terms of technological mastery and the welfare of educators, the institution showed positive adaptation through internal training innovations and collaboration between madrasahs. These findings indicate that a value-based staffing system in Islamic educational institutions can serve as an integrative human resource management model that combines professionalism, spirituality, and institutional loyalty.
