Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pijat ringan menggunakan Minyak Pamboang terhadap penurunan nyeri muskuloskeletal pada masyarakat Mandar. Minyak Pamboang merupakan ramuan tradisional yang mengandung Oleum Cocos, Oleum Cajuputi, dan Oleum Cinnamomum Culilawan, yang secara empiris digunakan untuk meredakan nyeri dan peradangan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group dengan total 32 responden yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu intervensi dan kontrol (masing-masing 16 orang setelah drop out). Kelompok intervensi menerima pijat ringan menggunakan Minyak Pamboang tiga kali seminggu selama dua minggu, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menerima perawatan standar puskesmas. Pengukuran nyeri menggunakan Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) dan dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann–Whitney. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan rata-rata skor VAS sebesar 2,38 poin pada kelompok intervensi dan 2,69 poin pada kelompok kontrol. Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antar kelompok (p=0,085), namun keduanya mengalami penurunan nyeri yang bermakna secara klinis. Minyak Pamboang berpotensi digunakan sebagai terapi komplementer dalam penanganan nyeri ringan hingga sedang.

Abstract

The implementation of a peaceful end of life is one of the implementations that aims to improve the quality of life of patients with severe illnesses and provide a peaceful end of life, and is very important for patients with end-of-life care in the ICU by paying attention to the patient's culture. This study aims to explore the experiences of nurses in implementing a peaceful end of life based on Mandar cultural values ​​in the ICU of Majene Regional Hospital. This study used a qualitative design with a purposive sampling technique in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used was an interview guide related to the implementation of a peaceful end of life by paying attention to aspects of Mandar cultural values ​​​​concerning pain freedom, feeling comfortable, feeling dignified, being in peace and family closeness with the closest person. The study was conducted in August 2025 with 7 informants. The results of the study showed that nurses have experience in implementing a peaceful end of life based on Mandar cultural values ​​​​concerning pain freedom, feeling comfortable, feeling dignified, being in peace, and family closeness with the closest person.

Abstract

Audiovisual-based education is a form of intervention that provides information and understanding to enhance an individual's knowledge and skills by using media that combines sound and visual elements. The implementation of audiovisual-based education on bullying prevention at State Elementary School No. 4 Tanjung Batu is categorized as good. This research was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of audiovisual-based education on the knowledge and attitudes about bullying prevention in children at State Elementary School No. 4 Tanjung Batu. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample consisted of 40 individuals using a total sampling technique. The research instruments used for the knowledge and attitude variables were questionnaires. The collected data were processed and then analyzed using univariate frequency and bivariate Wilcoxon tests. The obtained p-value was 0.000, and since p < 0.05, Ha was accepted, indicating that there is an influence of audiovisual-based education on the knowledge and attitudes about bullying prevention in children at State Elementary School No. 4 Tanjung Batu.
