Abstract

Naskah drama yang berkualitas baik adalah bahan untuk menyajikan pertunjukan teater yang baik pula. Naskah tersebut adalah karya sastra yang menjadi media bagi dramawan untuk menyampaikan pesan, gagasan, komentar, dan solusi dari permasalahan keseharian di lingkungannya, melalui unsur dramatik seperti tema, alur, penokohan, dan latar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menelaah unsur-unsur dramatik, fenomena sosial, dan fenomena psikologi yang terdapat dalam naskah drama “Jalan Menyempit” karya Joni Faisal, sebagai naskah pemenang pertama lomba Penulisan Naskah Teater Nasional tahun 2017 yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Naskah ini kurang dikenal karena terbatasnya publikasi. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu masyarakat, khususnya seniman, akademisi seni teater dan seni sastra, agar bisa memperoleh informasi tentang unsur-unsur dramaturgi, keterkaitan dengan realita sosial dan realita psikologi masyarakat di Indonesia, serta proses transformasi realita menjadi peristiwa dramatik. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik digunakan untuk menganalisis unsur dramatik (intrinsik), lalu menghubungkannya dengan fenomena sosial-psikologi (ekstrinsik) pada naskah, menggunakan teori dramaturgi, sosiologi sastra, dan psikologi sastra. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa drama ini adalah penggambaran dari realita sosial dan realita psikologis pada saat naskah ini ditulis. Penulisnya berusaha merespon realita yang terjadi dengan menuangkan pikirannya dalam drama untuk memberikan pernyataan dan menawarkan solusi bagi berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Theater Arts is widely taught in non-formal educational institutions such as studios, hermitage and extracurricular activities in formal schools. Its existence continues to grow as art education is realized to be an alternative media for the learning process. There came a number of Theater Arts training institutions in Surakarta. This research was conducted to examine the potential, development, and management of several training institutions that have a good reputation and have proven their presence in Surakarta. Qualitative research methods with analytic descriptive are used to analyze the training methods, curriculum, and management of training institutions that are used as research objects in order to see their potential and development. The results of this study can be used as a reference for anyone who is interested in developing non-formal educational institutions in the arts, especially Theater Arts. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the city of Surakarta as a City of Performing Arts, has the potential to be a location for the development of the Theater Arts training field. From the two objects of the training institution studied, the differences and variations in the training and management methods applied are described in accordance with the composition of the participants and the curriculum applied.Key words: theater arts, non-formal education, training methods, management.  ABSTRAK  Seni Teater banyak diajarkan dalam lembaga pendidikan non-formal seperti sanggar, padepokan dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah formal. Keberadaannya terus berkembang seiring disadarinya pendidikan seni sebagai media alternatif proses pembelajaran. Maka muncullah beberapa lembaga pelatihan Seni Teater di Surakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji potensi, perkembangan, dan pengelolaan dari beberapa lembaga pelatihan yang sudah bereputasi cukup baik dan teruji keberadaannya di Surakarta. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan deskriptif analitik digunakan untuk menganalisis metode pelatihan, kurikulum, dan pengelolaan lembaga-lembaga pelatihan yang dijadikan objek penelitian, guna melihat potensi dan perkembangannya. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan bagi siapa pun yang tertarik untuk mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan non-formal di bidang seni, khususnya Seni Teater. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kota Surakarta sebagai Kota Seni Pertunjukan, berpotensi sebagai lokasi pengembangan bidang pelatihan Seni Teater. Dari dua objek lembaga pelatihan yang diteliti, tergambar perbedaan dan variasi metode pelatihan dan pengelolaan yang diterapkan sesuai dengan komposisi peserta dan kurikulum yang diterapkan. Kata-kata kunci : seni teater, pendidikan non-formal, metode pelatihan, pengelolaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of theater acting through fairy tales as a medium for character education at PKBM Omah Dongeng Marwah.The research method used is qualitative. Primary data sources are interviews and observations of educators, learners, and related parties. Secondary data are obtained from literature studies. The research was conducted at PKBM Omah Dongeng Marwah, located at Jl. Ngasinan No. 9, Purworejo Village, Bae District, Kudus Regency. The research subjects were 15 people who were selected purposively according to research needs. The research instruments used included interview guides, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The research was conducted for three months from January to March 2024. This study also compared data from interviews, observations, and documents to ensure the validity and consistency of the data.The results of the study showed that this approach was effective in developing the character of learners, improving communication skills, creativity, and teamwork. The main conclusion is that this method can have a significant positive impact on the personal and professional development of learners.

Abstract

Conflict is an important element in dramas to assemble and unite intrinsic elements of theme, characterization, and groove. Conflict is also a determinant of the quality of a drama, because it is directly related to the reality of human life as individuals, as well as social beings. This study was conducted to determine the patterns, causes, effects, and conflict resolution presented in four realist dramas that differed from the time side of the incident, the background of the place, and the social setting, to find the resolution offered by the author, from the social conflicts that occurred in the community every period. The method used is analytic descriptive of conflict, intrinsic element, and social condition that underlies the creation of four realist dramas being sampled, Ketika Malam Bertambah Malam, Domba-domba Revolusi, Sayang Ada Orang Lain, and Pertja. In this study, it can be concluded while the conflict that arises is the depiction of social reality at the time this text is written, as well as the psychological condition of society in overcoming the problems that arise. Each author offers a reasonable and reasonable resolution of the conflict to provide a solution to each of the issues raised. Keywords :conflict, intrinsic, social, resolution.

Abstract

Satir merupakan metode penyampaian pemikiran melalui sindiran secara kasar ataupun halus. Objek yang menjadi sasaran satir adalah politik, ras, ideologi, dan agama. Bentuk satir yang cenderung diterima semua orang adalah parodi. Konsep yang ditawarkan parodi adalah meniru suatu peristiwa yang tidak sesuai dengan realita untuk dijadikan objek lelucon. Studi ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui fungsi kehadiran satir dalam pertunjukan Para Pensiunan:2049. Objek dipilih karena memiliki konsep pemanggungan yang terbilang unik dan baru. Teater Gandrik mencoba membawa penonton masuk pada ruang futuristik untuk menyaksikan ilustrasi kondisi sosial Indonesia di masa depan . Pertunjukan yang ditampilkan mengemukakan suatu premis bahwa “meggunakan kebenaran untuk melawan korupsi yang sudah menjadi tabiat masyarakat Indonesia adalah tindakan sia-sia”. Keselarasan antara peristiwa dalam pertunjukan dengan realita masyarakat menjadi poin tambah untuk dibahas secara runtut. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan dengan teori dramaturgi Harymawan dan satir Gilbert Highet untuk menganalisis kontruksi dramatik, kontruksi artistik, dan satir parodi. Pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk  menganalisis proses kreatif Teater Gandrik dalam berkarya. Hasil akhir penelitian ini mengungkap unsur satir parodi sebagai instrumen pembangun ruang futuristik.
