Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic values-based management of teaching and educational staff and its impact on improving student academic achievement. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a field study design involving 15 informants, comprising study program heads, lecturers, educational staff, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations of academic activities, and reviews of performance documents and SOPs for human resource management, then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results showed that the integration of Islamic values ​​​​contributed significantly to improving student achievement, with the average GPA increasing from 3.50 to 3.83 and the on-time graduation rate increasing from 78% to 93% in the last four years. Recruitment based on value alignment, competency development that combines pedagogical and ethical dimensions, and performance evaluation with moral and academic indicators has a positive effect on student motivation and achievement. The field findings show that the value of shura fosters participatory leadership and collective accountability; amanah enhances the personal integrity of teaching staff; ihsan promotes a culture of quality and learning innovation; while itqan serves as the basis for work excellence and academic rigor. Analytically, this finding extends the theories of Value-Based Human Resource Management and Transformational Leadership by incorporating an Islamic spiritual dimension, which has been shown to influence organizational behavior and student learning outcomes. The novelty of this research lies in the empirical evidence that the integration of Islamic values ​​into HRM functions at the study program level directly improves student achievement, and it presents a theoretical synthesis between modern educational management practices and Islamic spirituality that has previously been rarely empirically explored in the context of Islamic higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perencanaan merupakan bagian penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan karena menjadi dasar dalam menentukan arah, tujuan, dan pelaksanaan program pendidikan. Dalam pendidikan nonformal, khususnya Program Kesetaraan Paket C, perencanaan perlu disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan warga belajar yang beragam agar mutu pendidikan dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis proses perencanaan Program Kesetaraan Paket C dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di PKBM Aditya Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan kepala PKBM, tutor, dan warga belajar sebagai informan penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan Program Kesetaraan Paket C di PKBM Aditya Karawang dilakukan secara sistematis, partisipatif, dan berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat. Perencanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan belajar, identifikasi warga belajar dan tutor, penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, penyiapan sarana dan prasarana, serta penerapan pembelajaran kombinasi daring dan luring yang menyesuaikan kondisi warga belajar. Keterlibatan berbagai pihak dalam proses perencanaan juga mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Namun, fleksibilitas pembelajaran masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya motivasi sebagian warga belajar. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan program perlu disertai strategi peningkatan motivasi belajar agar mutu pendidikan dapat tercapai secara optimal.

Abstract

The digital era has brought massive disruptions that require educational institutions to immediately reorient their management strategies in order to respond to increasingly complex global challenges. Rapid technological developments not only change learning methods but also create ambiguity in institutional governance when conventional patterns continue to be maintained. Through a qualitative literature review method, this study explores various scientific literatures and current policies to examine the paradigm shift from administrative management toward adaptive governance. The findings indicate that management strategies must urgently focus on strengthening visionary digital leadership and the flexibility of curriculum infrastructure capable of accommodating students’ personalized learning needs. In addition, improving educators’ digital pedagogical competence becomes a crucial pillar so that technology does not merely function as a tool, but as the core spirit of the learning process. This series of strategic reorientations forms the main foundation for educational institutions to transition toward collaborative and data-driven ecosystems. The courage to integrate technology holistically into organizational culture will determine the sustainability of educational quality, ensuring that institutions remain relevant, competitive, and capable of producing resilient generations amidst the uncertainties of a rapidly changing era.
