Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi spasial konsumen terhadap ritel modern di Kota Bandung menggunakan Huff Model berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Penelitian ini didasari oleh pesatnya urbanisasi dan peningkatan jumlah ritel modern yang dapat menyebabkan perubahan pola konsumsi masyarakat perkotaan. Data penelitian meliputi titik lokasi ritel, luas bangunan, rating, jumlah pengunjung, jumlah penduduk per kecamatan dan batas administrasi kecamatan yang diperoleh melalui web scraping, digitasi dan sumber resmi seperti BIG dan BPS. Huff Model digunakan untuk mengukur probabilitas kunjungan, potensi penjualan (sales), dan jangkauan pasar (market area) berdasarkan daya tarik (attractiveness) dan jarak (distance) antara ritel dan wilayah konsumen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ritel di pusat kota seperti Yogya Riau Junction dan Borma Riung Bandung memiliki nilai probabilitas kunjungan, potensi penjualan dan jangkauan pasar tertinggi karena memiliki daya tarik besar dan lokasi strategis. Sementara itu, ritel di pinggiran kota seperti Griya Arcamanik dan Griya Batununggal menunjukkan pola dominasi lokal dengan jangkauan yang lebih sempit. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi antara faktor daya tarik dan jarak sangat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumen dalam memilih lokasi berbelanja. Hasil pemodelan dapat digunakan untuk perencanaan tata ruang dan strategi pengembangan jaringan ritel modern yang lebih merata dan efisien di Kota Bandung. Abstract:  This study aims to analyze consumer spatial preferences for modern retail in Bandung City using the Huff Model based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This study is based on rapid urbanization and an increase in the number of modern retailers, which can cause changes in urban consumption patterns. The research data includes retail location points, building area, ratings, number of visitors, population per sub-district, and administrative boundaries obtained through web scraping, digitization, and official sources such as BIG and BPS. The Huff Model is used to measure the probability of visits, sales potential, and market area based on attractiveness and distance between retailers and consumer areas. The results show that retailers in city centers such as Yogya Riau Junction and Borma Riung Bandung have the highest visit probability, sales potential, and market area values because they have great attractiveness and strategic locations. Meanwhile, retailers on the outskirts such as Griya Arcamanik and Griya Batununggal show a pattern of local dominance with a narrower reach. These findings confirm that the combination of attractiveness and distance factors greatly influences consumer behavior in choosing shopping locations. The modeling results can be used for spatial planning and strategies to develop a more equitable and efficient modern retail network in Bandung City.

Abstract

The number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) cases in Bandung City increased significantly in 2024, reaching 7,146 cases (four times higher than in 2023). The increase in DHF cases in an area is influenced by various factors, including geographic, sociodemographic, and environmental conditions. DHF cases is also influenced by the ecological conditions of the surrounding area, so it is necessary to consider the neighborhood features in the analysis of DHF case in a certain location. This study aims to build spatial modelling of DHF cases in Bandung City using Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR). GWR modeling works based on the local relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y) and considers its surrounding area. The independent variables used in this study include elevation (X1), the number of children aged 5-14 years (X2), population density (X3), percentage of built-up area (X4), and road density (X5). Meanwhile, the dependent variable used is the number of DHF cases in Bandung City from January to April 2024. The GWR prediction results indicate that DHF cases are concentrated in the northern and southeastern regions of Bandung, with a global R² value of 0.778 (indicating that 77.8% of the variance is explained by the model). The variables that play a significant role in the GWR model of DHF cases in this study are altitude and the number of residents aged 5-14 years.
