Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan Islam sangat bergantung pada kompetensi dan integritas sumber daya manusia yang tidak hanya profesional secara akademik, tetapi juga berakhlak mulia sesuai nilai-nilai Islam. Di era globalisasi dan digitalisasi, banyak lembaga pendidikan Islam belum mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam manajemen SDM, padahal hal ini penting untuk menjaga keseimbangan antara kemajuan profesional dan keteladanan moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam seleksi dan pengembangan SDM di lembaga pendidikan Islam serta implikasinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas lembaga. Bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam seperti amanah, shiddiq, ikhlas, dan ta'awun dapat diinternalisasikan secara sistematis dalam proses seleksi dan pengembangan SDM untuk meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan menganalisis literatur dari buku, artikel ilmiah, jurnal akademik, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam seleksi dan pengembangan SDM dapat diterapkan melalui tes karakteristik kepribadian berbasis Islam, studi kasus berbasis Islami, spiritual training, halaqah tarbawiyah, dan mentoring. Penerapan ini meningkatkan profesionalisme, integritas, dan budaya kerja Islami yang berdampak pada peningkatan mutu lembaga secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of leadership in educational organizations, analyze the types of authority according to Max Weber, and explain their influence on the effectiveness of educational leadership performance. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods through the review of various relevant scholarly sources, including Max Weber’s original works as well as journal articles and other academic books. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques, involving the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that educational leadership is a process of directing, influencing, and managing organizational resources to achieve educational goals effectively. In Weber’s theory, there are three forms of authority: traditional, charismatic, and rational-legal, each possessing distinct characteristics in leadership practice. Traditional authority serves to maintain organizational stability but tends to limit renewal and innovation. Charismatic authority can boost the motivation and work ethic of organizational members, yet it is highly dependent on the leader’s persona. Meanwhile, rational-legal authority fosters professionalism and work efficiency, though it may potentially diminish interpersonal relationships within the organization. The novelty of this study lies in the development of a model integrating Weberian authority that combines all three forms of authority within the context of educational leadership.Keyword: Educational Leadership, Max Weber’s Concept Of Authority, Effectiveness, Educational Organizations

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic educational management and public relations (PR) as an adaptive strategy in responding to the era of educational transformation. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, conducted through the review of various relevant literature such as books, journals, and scholarly articles. The data analysis used is descriptive-qualitative analysis, which involves collecting, classifying, and interpreting data from various sources, and then organizing them systematically to generate a comprehensive understanding of the research problem. In addition, the researcher applies content analysis techniques to identify, compare, and draw conclusions from the reviewed literature.The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic educational management and public relations can strengthen the strategic management of educational institutions, particularly in establishing effective communication with the community and enhancing the institutional image. The utilization of digital technology and the implementation of innovative learning approaches serve as supporting factors in improving educational quality and student engagement. However, disparities in capacity among educational institutions, especially between urban and rural areas, remain a challenge. Therefore, it is essential to enhance human resource competencies, ensure equitable access to technology, and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders.Keywords: Islamic Educational Management, Public Relations, Educational Transformation, Adaptive Strategy, Digital Technology

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the functions and styles of Islamic leadership based on the role models of Nusantara kyai in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses library research. Research data were obtained through observation, documentation, and observation of the leadership activities of kyai in the Islamic boarding school environment. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of Islamic leadership practices in Islamic boarding schools. The results show that the leadership functions of kyai include educational, spiritual, social, and transformational functions in fostering students and the community. In addition, the leadership style of kyai tends to be charismatic, paternalistic, and participatory by placing exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah) as the core of leadership. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of the functions and styles of Islamic leadership within a leadership framework based on the role models of Nusantara kyai in Islamic boarding schools. This research contributes to the development of the concept of Islamic leadership that is contextual to the culture of Islamic boarding schools in the archipelago and provides practical implications for strengthening the model of Islamic educational leadership that is adaptive, moral, and relevant in facing the challenges of educational modernization in the contemporary era.Keyword: Islamic Leadership, Kyai Nusantara, Leadership Style, Leadership Function
