Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of pre-service mathematics teachers’ continuous intention to use GeoGebra by integrating key constructs from educational technology acceptance and pedagogical knowledge frameworks. Employing a quantitative correlational design, data were obtained from 209 pre-service teachers through a validated questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research examined the direct effects of Self-Confidence in Mathematics (SCM), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Perceived Social Pressure (PSP), and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) on Continuous Intention to Use GeoGebra (CIUG). The results revealed that SCM, PSP, and TPACK significantly influence CIUG, whereas FC did not show a significant effect. These findings underscore the importance of psychological and pedagogical readiness over infrastructural support in predicting sustained technology use. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the integration of internal and external factors within a unified model and suggests that teacher education programs should focus on enhancing self-efficacy, social engagement, and TPACK to support technology integration. Future research is encouraged to explore contextual and longitudinal aspects to expand the applicability of these findings across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate multivariate statistical sensitivity in detecting academic performance differences across three instructional methods: Differentiated Instruction, Group Learning, and Individual Learning in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Methods: A structured synthetic dataset containing 100 simulated student records was generated using a stratified Monte Carlo distribution to reflect balanced instructional groups (Differentiated Instruction: , Group Learning: , Individual Learning:  ). Data analysis employed a one-way Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) to assess simultaneous score variations across the three subjects. Findings: The overall multivariate model revealed significant differences across instructional groups, Pillai's Trace . Univariate tests demonstrated significant effects for Chemistry, , and Physics, , whereas Mathematics showed no significant effect,  . Games-Howell post-hoc tests confirmed that Group Learning yielded higher simulated scores than Individual Learning in Chemistry () and Physics (). Research Implications: These simulation patterns demonstrate how subject-specific characteristics interact with group-based learning modalities, highlighting the necessity for future empirical classroom trials to validate these statistical trends. Originality: This study provides a controlled simulation framework illustrating that the theoretical efficacy of instructional techniques varies according to the domain-specific demands of STEM subjects.
