Abstract

Telecommunication operators face significant challenges in Monitoring Optical signal quality across thousands of fiber optik subscribers in real-time, resulting in delayed problem detection of 2-4 hours and increased operational costs. This study develops a web-based Fiber optik Monitoring system using Waterfall development model with PHP, MySQL, and Chart.js technologies to provide real-time visualization and automated alert mechanisms. The system was implemented through five sequential phases: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing with synthetic dataset simulation from 50+ ONU devices generating 5,000+ data points over 100 hours, and evaluation across three operational scenarios. Implementation results demonstrate average response time of 200ms, Monitoring accuracy of 99.9% validated through Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (p=0.342), and 97.5% faster problem detection reducing detection time from 2-4 hours to less than 5 minutes. The system successfully handles 300 concurrent users with degradation trend analysis achieving R²=0.9987 and optimal alert threshold at -30 dBm, proving to be a viable and cost-effective solution for telecommunication Network Management. Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam sistem pembayaran menjadi salah satu strategi penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi transaksi dan inklusi keuangan bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, tingkat adopsi pembayaran digital di pasar tradisional masih relatif rendah akibat keterbatasan literasi digital, rendahnya kepercayaan terhadap keamanan transaksi, serta minimnya pendampingan teknis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pedagang UMKM dalam menggunakan sistem pembayaran digital, khususnya QRIS. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Pasar Gedebage Kota Bandung melalui tahapan survei kebutuhan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis langsung, pendampingan lapangan, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 10 pedagang UMKM menjadi peserta program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek literasi digital, kemampuan penggunaan QRIS, persepsi kemanfaatan, dan niat penggunaan berkelanjutan. Pendampingan intensif terbukti efektif dalam membangun kepercayaan serta mendorong perubahan perilaku transaksi menuju sistem pembayaran digital. Program ini berpotensi menjadi model pengembangan digitalisasi UMKM di pasar tradisional lainnya.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of fiber optic networks has increased the complexity of infrastructure management, particularly in joint closure documentation, core configuration, and connection quality monitoring. Manual management and fragmented documentation often lead to inconsistent data, limited traceability, and inefficient maintenance processes. This study aims to develop a web-based fiber optic network management system that integrates asset documentation, core structure visualization, attenuation history recording, location documentation, and reporting into a unified platform. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The developed system successfully manages joint closure data, visualizes a 192-core structure, records attenuation measurement history, tracks user activities, and generates digital reports. Functional testing confirmed that all major features performed according to the specified requirements. The integrated system enhances documentation accuracy, accelerates network condition identification, improves maintenance efficiency, and provides an effective solution for comprehensive fiber optic infrastructure management.
