Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic Education (PAI) curriculum development principles in addressing contemporary educational challenges. The rapid advancement of digital technology, changes in student characteristics, moral issues, and the demands of 21st-century skills require the PAI curriculum to be more adaptive and contextual. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, with data sources derived from scholarly articles, books, and relevant academic documents. Data analysis is conducted through content analysis, including data reduction, data presentation, and critical conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that curriculum development principles such as relevance, flexibility, effectiveness, continuity, integration, and democratic values play a strategic role in responding to contemporary educational challenges. These principles enable the PAI curriculum to become more contextual, adaptive to technological developments, and capable of integrating Islamic values with modern life demands. However, implementation in practice still faces several challenges, including limited teacher competence, lack of innovative teaching strategies, and the dominance of cognitive-oriented approaches. Strengthening curriculum implementation is necessary through improving teacher competence, developing innovative learning strategies, and integrating values and technology in a balanced manner

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pengungkapan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam Surah Al-Kautsar untuk menjawab kebutuhan pembentukan karakter di era pendidikan modern. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kandungan nilai syukur, spiritual-sosial, dan keteguhan hati dalam Surah Al-Kautsar ayat 1–3 serta relevansinya bagi pendidikan masa kini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dengan menelaah tafsir, literatur pendidikan Islam, dan sumber-sumber pendukung lainnya. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menginterpretasikan ayat-ayat Surah Al-Kautsar dalam konteks nilai pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ayat pertama menegaskan nilai syukur sebagai dasar pembentukan sikap positif dan kesadaran spiritual. Ayat kedua menekankan pentingnya kedisiplinan ibadah dan kepedulian sosial melalui shalat dan kurban sebagai bagian dari pendidikan karakter. Ayat ketiga mengajarkan keteguhan hati, kesabaran, dan akhlak mulia sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan kehidupan. Kesimpulannya, Surah Al-Kautsar menawarkan konsep pendidikan Islam yang utuh dan relevan untuk membentuk manusia berakhlak mulia, disiplin, peduli, dan tangguh.

Abstract

Public policy analysis is an important process in formulating and evaluating policies that affect society at large. In public policy studies, various analytical models are used to understand the decision-making process, including the rational model and the incremental model. This study aims to examine, through a literature review, the concepts, characteristics, and comparison between the rational model and the incremental model in public policy analysis. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing various academic sources such as books and relevant scientific articles. The results of the study show that the rational model emphasizes a systematic, comprehensive decision-making process based on optimal analysis of various policy alternatives. Meanwhile, the incremental model emphasizes gradual and realistic policy changes by considering limitations in information, time, and resources. This study concludes that both models have their own strengths and limitations; therefore, in practice, they are often used in a complementary manner in public policy analysis. Thus, understanding these two models is important for policy analysts in order to produce policies that are effective and adaptive to social dynamics.
