One factor that can influence the development of a student's literacy culture is their social environment. The social environment is a system of interactions between individuals and various parties around them that can influence their attitudes, behaviors, and habits in everyday life. This study aims to analyze the influence of the social environment on students’ literacy culture and its contribution to literacy culture at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The research employs a quantitative correlational approach. The population consisted of 323 students, with a sample of 179 students selected using cluster sampling. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, and simple linear regression was used for data analysis. The results indicate that the t-value is 12.171, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.973, leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of Hₐ. This finding confirms that the social environment significantly affects students’ literacy culture. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.456, suggesting that the social environment contributes 45.6% to students’ literacy culture, while the remaining 54.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

This study examines the role of Field study as a reflective learning strategy in developing teaching competence among postgraduate students in Islamic Education Management. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research involved 16 master’s students who conducted face-to-face teaching practice over one academic semester. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and analysis of teaching videos used in structured Video Review sessions. The findings reveal that the integration of Video Review within the Field study program functions as a critical reflective mechanism that transforms teaching practice into a process of pedagogical self-awareness and professional learning. Beyond improving pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, Video Review enables students to critically evaluate their verbal and non-verbal teaching behaviors, classroom interactions, and instructional decision-making in an objective manner. This reflective process fosters metacognitive awareness, strengthens professional identity, and embeds the Islamic educational value of muhasabah (self-introspection) as a foundation for continuous professional development. This study contributes conceptually by positioning Video Review not merely as an evaluative tool, but as an integral model of reflective learning in Islamic higher education. The findings extend the discourse on reflective teaching by offering a contextualized framework for developing competent, reflective, and value-oriented educators at the postgraduate level of Islamic education.

The repository application is a tool used by librarians in preserving managed information and improving library digital services. Utilization evaluation is important in knowing the management of the repository. This is only to achieve one expectation, which is satisfaction for users. The purpose of this research is to ensure the use of the repository as a form of information preservation owned by the UIN Raden Intan library to make it easier for academics to take research information and to make it easier for students to conduct thesis research. The method used is qualitative descriptive. This method gives freedom to researchers to conduct research reviews so that researchers can deliver this research according to the conditions that occur. To support data collection, researchers used interview, observational and literature methods. The result of this study is that the UIN Raden Intan library stores information periodically with the aim of presenting information as needed. Repository information is presented using the format of year, study program and faculty. This provides convenience and flexibility for all UIN academics in taking digital information and services. The repository has been implemented using an online model, this adds flexibility for academics and researchers in obtaining research references without being hampered by distance and time in the UIN Raden Intan library.

Background of the Study: Library service quality plays an important role in supporting user satisfaction and optimizing access to information resources. However, several aspects of library services at Institut Bakti Nusantara (IBN) Pringsewu still require improvement, particularly in facilities, service systems, and human resources. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the quality of library services at the Library of Institut Bakti Nusantara (IBN) Pringsewu based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) and to formulate strategies for improving library services. Method: This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving librarians and library users. The data were analyzed descriptively using the five SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Finding: The results show that the tangibles, reliability, and responsiveness dimensions have not been fully optimized due to limitations in facilities, collection updates, system stability, and human resources. Meanwhile, the assurance and empathy dimensions were implemented well through professional services, courteous staff attitudes, and user-oriented assistance in library collection management. Conclusion: Improving library service quality requires enhancing library facilities and collections, increasing system reliability, strengthening human resources, maintaining professional service standards, and sustaining user-oriented practices to improve overall library service quality.
