Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Teaching Factory program in improving the entrepreneurial skills of 11th grade students majoring in Business and Motorcycle Engineering at SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data Collection was conducted through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model with triangulation of sources and techniques to maintain data validity. The results showed that the implementation of the Teaching Factory through AHASS workshop services provided students with real entrepreneurial experience, as demonstrated by their active involvement in workshop management, communication with customers, and the application of industry work standards. The application of the block scheduling system provides intensive support to students, while the habit of industrial work culture such as discipline, work ethic, communication, and teamwork contributes to the formation of students’ professional attitudes and entrepreneurial skills. This study confirms that the integration of the Teaching Factory, block system, and industrial work culture effectively improves the entrepreneurial skills of automotive vocational school students.

Abstract

Integration between educators’ digital competence and human resource management (HRM) is essential in the era of digital transformation and hybrid learning; however, no existing study has clearly formulated such integration. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop a strategic framework for integrating educators’ digital competence with HRM practices within hybrid learning environments during the digital transformation era. To achieve this objective, the study employs a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review using the PRISMA method. A total of 20 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed from major databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Garuda, and Sinta. The findings indicate that: (1) From the perspective of digital competence, teachers, lecturers, and learners must master pedagogical, reflective, and ethical skills to ensure that technology meaningfully supports the learning process; (2) In terms of HRM transformation, institutions need to strategically utilize artificial intelligence (AI), adopt metaverse-based learning spaces, and implement performance-based incentives; (3) The recommended integration strategy emphasizes synergy among three dimensions: strong individual digital competence, strategic and adaptive HRM, and their alignment within institutional policies and practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of information technology–based talent management in supporting the effectiveness of human resource management at SMAS Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. The research is motivated by the digital era’s demand for teachers to possess not only pedagogical competence but also strong digital literacy. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the use of digital applications such as Sulinjar, Afresto, Cooding AI, and Artikuret Story Telling has enhanced teacher professionalism, fostered collaboration, and built an innovation-oriented work culture. Talent planning was conducted using data-driven analysis to design appropriate development programs, while talent assessment was carried out through direct classroom supervision to ensure authentic performance evaluation. The study highlights that the success of this digital transformation depends on visionary leadership, institutional support, and adequate digital infrastructure. Despite challenges related to teachers’ varying levels of digital literacy, the research concludes that integrating information technology into talent management effectively improves efficiency, transparency, and the quality of educational human resources toward an adaptive and sustainable management system.
