Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P-5) is one of the national programs applied to educational units, including in junior high school social studies subjects. Social studies education has a high relevance to P5 in terms of objectives and subject matter. But in its implementation P5 still faces many obstacles. This study aims to analyze the problems faced by students in the implementation of P5 in SMP Negeri 16 Bengkulu City. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative method. The objects of research are students, teachers and the person in charge of the project. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires and documentation and then analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model. The results showed that there were 4 main problems for students in implementing P5 in SMP negeri 16 Bengkulu City, namely: limited facilities and resources; 2) lack of support from parents and external parties; 3) many other tasks outside the project; and 4) technical obstacles. From these results it can be concluded that the implementation of P5 in social studies learning at SMP Negeri 16 Bengkulu City has been running but still faces obstacles that need to be resolved by the teachers and the school.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine whether there were differences in students’ learning outcomes between those who applied the Question Student Have strategy (questions from students) and those who applied the Giving Question and Getting Answer strategy (giving questions and receiving answers) in Social Studies learning in Grade VII at SMP Negeri 20 Bengkulu City. This experimental study used a comparative quantitative approach with a dual-paradigm research design involving two independent variables and one dependent variable. The population consisted of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Bengkulu City in the 2024–2025 academic year, while the sample comprised Class VII A as the experimental class and Class VII B as the control class. The research instrument was a Social Studies achievement test. The data were analyzed using a normality test, a homogeneity test, and a t-test. The results indicated differences in students’ learning outcomes between those using the Question Student Have strategy (questions from students) and those using the Giving Question and Getting Answer strategy (giving questions and receiving answers) in Social Studies in Grade VII at SMP Negeri 20 Bengkulu City. This was evidenced by the t-test results (tcount > ttable = 2.578 > 1.697) or p < 0.05 (i.e., 0.029 < 0.05), meaning that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola perilaku perjudian togel yang dijalankan oleh masyarakat Desa Lubuk Bingin Baru, Kecamatan Sindang Beliti Ilir, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, serta mengkaji dampaknya terhadap kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial keluarga. Perjudian togel merupakan fenomena sosial yang telah mengalami normalisasi dalam kehidupan masyarakat pedesaan, meskipun secara yuridis dilarang dan bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai agama maupun norma sosial yang berlaku.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif moderat, wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik snowball sampling, melibatkan 10–12 informan yang terdiri dari pelaku perjudian aktif maupun mantan pelaku, anggota keluarga pelaku, tokoh masyarakat, dan perangkat desa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perjudian togel di Desa Lubuk Bingin Baru tidak semata-mata merupakan tindakan individual yang menyimpang, melainkan telah menjadi praktik sosial yang berulang, dinormalisasi, dan diwariskan melalui relasi keluarga serta jaringan sosial. Pola perilaku perjudian togel dipengaruhi oleh faktor ekonomi berupa keterbatasan pendapatan dan harapan memperoleh keuntungan instan, faktor psikologis berupa tekanan hidup dan rendahnya pengendalian diri, serta faktor sosiologis berupa lingkungan sosial yang permisif dan lemahnya kontrol keluarga. Adapun dampak yang ditimbulkan mencakup penurunan kesejahteraan ekonomi rumah tangga, timbulnya konflik dalam keluarga, melemahnya fungsi pengasuhan, serta terganggunya keharmonisan dan relasi sosial antaranggota keluarga.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberlanjutan praktik togel tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pertimbangan rasional ekonomi, tetapi juga oleh faktor kultural dan sosial yang melekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat desa. Diperlukan pendekatan intervensi yang kontekstual, berbasis budaya lokal, dan melibatkan peran aktif keluarga, tokoh masyarakat, serta pemerintah desa dalam upaya menanggulangi dampak sosial perjudian togel.
