ICT literacy is an essential aspect of Indonesian language learning in primary schools. Its integration has the potential to improve learning quality while preparing students to navigate global challenges. The rapid advancement of ICT shapes individuals' ways of thinking, behavior, and actions, significantly influencing the learning process, particularly in Indonesian language education. Proficiency in ICT literacy is crucial for students as it enhances their ability to access and utilize information efficiently, develop strong language skills, and appreciate the significance of the Indonesian language. This study utilizes a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Analysis of journal articles reveals that strengthening ICT literacy largely depends on teachers' active involvement. The research seeks to examine the extent of teachers' participation in fostering students' ICT literacy. Successful implementation requires incorporating ICT into the curriculum and providing comprehensive teacher training on ICT use. Additionally, optimizing language learning applications and project-based learning approaches is necessary to enhance students' ICT literacy skills.
