EFEKTIFITAS PENYULUHAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN SISWA TEKNIK OTOMOTIF SMK MEKANIKA BUNTET PESANTREN CIREBON TERKAIT GANGGUAN DENGAR AKIBAT BISING SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENYULUHAN

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Bising didefinisikan sebagai bunyi yang tidak diinginkan, tidak disukai dan mengganggu, sedangkan secara obyektif, bising merupakan getaran bunyi yang kompleks terdiri dari berbagai frekuensi dan 1 amplitudo yang bersifat periodik atau non periodik. Kebisingan umumnya berasal dari mesin di tempat kerja dan dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti kesehatan tergantung pada frekuensi, lama paparan danintensitasnya. Bising dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif pada sistem auditori berupa gangguan pendengaran akibat bising (GPAB) atau Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan menganalisis efektifitas penyuluhan terhadap pengetahuan siswa Teknik Otomotif SMK Mekanika Buntet Pondok Pesantren Cirebon terkait gangguan dengar akibat bising sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan. Metode: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest dan menggunakan total sampling seluruh siswa kelas 12 jurusan Teknik Otomotif SMK Mekanika Buntet Pondok Pesantren Cirebon yaitu sebanyak 50 siswa. Hasil: Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan media presentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-test. Hasil pada penelitian ini aspek pengetahuan responden memiliki nilai rata-rata pada saat pretest sebesar 41.80 dan pada saat posttest dengan nilai 78.20 yang mana terjadi perubahan atau perbedaan. Uji statistik Paired Sample T-test pada pengetahuan didapatkan p value= 0,002 (< 0,05) menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan setelah penyuluhan. Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan mengenai gangguan dengar akibat bising. ABSTRACT Introduction: Noise is unwanted, unwelcome and annoying sound, while objectively, noise is a complex sound vibration consisting of various frequencies and 1 amplitude that is periodic or non-periodic. Noise generally comes from machines in the workplace and can have negative impacts such as health depending on the frequency, length of exposure and intensity. Noise can have a negative impact on the auditory system in the form of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). Aim: To find out how the description of knowledge and analyzing the effectiveness of counseling on the knowledge of students of Automotive Engineering SMK Mekanika Buntet Boarding School Cirebon related to Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) before and after counseling. Methods: This study used an analytic observational method with a pre-exsprerimtal design use a one group pretest posttest. This study use a total sampling of all 12th grade students majoring in Automotive Engineering SMK Mekanika Buntet Boarding School Cirebon, involving 50 students. Results: Counseling is done with presentations. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-test. The results in this study regarding the knowledge aspect of the respondents had an average value at the time of the pretest of 41.80 and at the time of the posttest with a value of 78.20 where there was a change or difference. The Paired Sample T-test statistical test on knowledge obtained p value = 0.002 (<0.05) indicates that there is a significant difference in aspects of knowledge after counseling. Conclusion: There was a significant increase in the aspect of knowledge after counseling about hearing loss due to noise was carried out.
