The training “Strategies for Analyzing Prose Fiction to Improve the Quality of Indonesian Language Teaching” aims to improve the competence of MGMP Indonesian Language teachers in Surabaya City in teaching prose fiction. Prose fiction is one of the literary genres that has high educational value, but is often faced with challenges in teaching. The training covers text analysis techniques, the development of innovative learning methods, as well as strategies to encourage critical discussions in the classroom. Through a practical and collaborative approach, participants are expected to be able to apply the strategies acquired to improve students' understanding of fictional prose. The expected outcome is the improvement of teaching quality and students' reading interest, as well as the strengthening of collaboration networks among teachers in the MGMP community. Results showed a significant improvement in participants' analytical skills and the application of prose fiction text-based teaching strategies.ABSTRAKPelatihan "Strategi Analisis Prosa Fiksi untuk Peningkatan Kualitas Pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia di Kota Surabaya dalam mengajar prosa fiksi. Prosa fiksi merupakan salah satu genre sastra yang memiliki nilai pendidikan tinggi, namun seringkali dihadapi dengan tantangan dalam pengajaran. Pelatihan ini mencakup teknik analisis teks, pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif, serta strategi untuk mendorong diskusi kritis di kelas. Melalui pendekatan praktis dan kolaboratif, peserta diharapkan mampu menerapkan strategi yang diperoleh untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap prosa fiksi. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dan minat baca siswa, serta penguatan jaringan kolaborasi antar guru dalam komunitas MGMP. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan analisis peserta dan penerapan strategi pengajaran berbasis teks prosa fiksi.
