This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects through the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model supported by encyclopedias and Student Worksheets (LKPD) in the form of crossword puzzles. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Rindi using a classroom action research approach consisting of two cycles. Each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and affective assessments. The results showed a consistent increase in student achievement: from a 17% success rate in the pre-cycle, to 58% in Cycle I, and 92% in Cycle II. Affective domain assessments also improved, with more students achieving "very good" and "good" categories in the second cycle. These findings indicate that the integration of the TPS model, supported by relevant learning media, can significantly enhance student engagement and academic performance in science. Therefore, this instructional model is recommended for science teachers seeking to improve learning outcomes and classroom participation.
