This study aims to examine the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in improving student learning motivation in the Al-Quran and Hadith subject at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat. The research method used was qualitative. The subjects were teachers and students at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The purpose of this study was to determine how teachers' skills in implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model improve student learning motivation in the Al-Quran and Hadith subject at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat, students' perceptions of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model in improving student learning motivation in the Al-Quran and Hadith at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat, and classroom management in implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model in improving student learning motivation in the Al-Quran and Hadith at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat. This research approach is qualitative with a case study approach, related to the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in improving student learning motivation in the Al-Quran and Hadith subject at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat. This research was conducted using scientific methods frequently used and implemented by a group of researchers in the social sciences. The researchers acted as observers and data collectors. Data were obtained through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results showed that the implementation of the TGT model in the Al-Quran Hadith subject at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat successfully increased student learning motivation. This was evident in increased student participation in learning, student enthusiasm in discussions and completing group assignments, and an increased sense of responsibility for learning. Furthermore, the TGT model also helped students develop collaboration, communication, and leadership skills. This study provides recommendations for Al-Quran Hadith teachers at MAN 3 Pasaman Barat to continue implementing the TGT model in their teaching, and for the school to provide better support for its implementation.
