The purpose of this research is to understand the role of mentors in developing students' disciplinary attitudes as well as the problems faced by mentors in the PMR extracurricular program at State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) 1 Mataram. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. The data collection techniques carried out are interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that: 1) mentors play a role in developing students' disciplinary attitudes through their participation as role models, guides, motivators, supervisors, enforcers of rules, and evaluators in every PMR extracurricular activity; 2) The strategies applied are consistently providing direct examples by implementing and following the rules of MAN 1 Mataram and the PMR rules of MAN 1 Mataram, approaching members with care, providing warnings and firm sanctions.
