This study was motivated by the high exposure to pornographic content among junior high school students, reaching 90% at an average age of 11 years, while conventional biology textbooks remain limited to anatomical and physiological aspects. The study aimed to develop Canva-based e-book teaching materials that integrate research findings on the impact of pornography exposure on students’ attitudes, social behavior, and understanding of reproduction at the junior high school level. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adapting the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Empirical research data from 50 students were directly integrated into the e-book. Validation results indicated that the product was highly feasible for use, with scores of 88% from subject matter experts and 90% from media experts. Student responses to the use of the e-book reached 82.16%, which falls into the very good category. The product effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in conceptual understanding, with the average pretest score increasing from 47.16 to 64.19 in the posttest. The paired t-test results revealed that the calculated t-value (3.02) was greater than the t-table value (2.028) at a 0.05 significance level, indicating that the e-book was statistically effective in enhancing students’ understanding. Through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, students were also encouraged to become agents of change by creating social media campaign posters. In conclusion, the development of this Canva-based e-book successfully synergizes scientific biology content with digital literacy and character education.
