Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan penerapan metode pengelolaan Vaccine Vial Monitor (VVM), First In First Out (FIFO), First Expired First Out (FEFO), dan Beyond Use Date (BUD) untuk mengurangi kerugian vaksin di Puskesmas Kota Barat. Tidak ditemukan kasus vaksin kedaluwarsa, over stock, maupun stock out selama enam bulan terakhir. ABSTRACT Vaccines are temperature-sensitive biological preparations that require proper management to prevent quality deterioration and vaccine wastage. This study aimed to describe the application of Vaccine Vial Monitor (VVM), First In First Out (FIFO), First Expired First Out (FEFO), and Beyond Use Date (BUD) management methods to reduce vaccine wastage at Kota Barat Public Health Center. A descriptive quantitative approach was used through direct observation and documentation with a checklist instrument, analyzed using descriptive percentages and compared with the 2021 Vaccine Management Guidelines of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The results showed that both the vaccine storage indicators and the vaccine availability and distribution indicators reached a 100% compliance level and were categorized as good. No cases of expired vaccines, overstock, or stockout were found during the last six months. It can be concluded that the application of the VVM, FIFO, FEFO, and BUD methods at Kota Barat Public Health Center complied with the standards and was proven effective in reducing vaccine wastage to zero.
