This study aims to analyze and describe the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in influencing students’ learning interest based on findings from published literature. The research employed the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by collecting, selecting, and analyzing scientific articles relevant to the research topic. Selected literature met the inclusion criteria and was analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify patterns and major themes. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers play a significant role in increasing students’ learning interest through their functions as motivators, facilitators, mentors, classroom managers, and role models. These roles are implemented through providing motivation, applying varied teaching methods, creating a conducive learning environment, guiding students, and demonstrating exemplary attitudes and behavior. The optimal implementation of teachers’ roles has been proven to increase student engagement in learning activities, develop interest in learning materials, and create more effective and meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, strengthening the competencies of Islamic Religious Education teachers becomes an important factor in supporting the improvement of students’ learning interest.
