The issue of household waste management in the RW 02 Purwoasri neighborhood, Metro Utara Subdistrict, Metro City, continues to face various challenges, such as low public awareness regarding waste sorting and limited market access for waste management products. This community service program aims to empower the local economy through the development of an e-commerce-based waste bank as an innovative solution for waste management that generates economic value. The implementation methods included outreach and education on waste management, training in waste sorting and record-keeping, guidance on using the e-commerce platform, and an evaluation of the program’s sustainability. The implementation of the e-commerce system enables residents to record transactions digitally, expands the marketing network for recycled products, and enhances the transparency and efficiency of the waste bank’s operations. The results of the program show an increase in community participation, higher income from the sale of waste and recycled products, and the establishment of a more modern and sustainable waste management system. This program is expected to serve as a model for environment-based economic empowerment that can be replicated in other regions.
