<![CDATA[This activity aims to improve the competence of French teachers in Central Java in mastering intercultural competence to support a more effective learning process and prepare students to become global individuals. The activity was carried out offline and attended by highschool French teachers in Central Java Central. This activity supports the achievement of the fourth SDG’s, namely quality educational innovation and the fourth astacita on strengthening human resources as social capital and national character by utilizing bilingual storybooks containing local culture as a medium for intercultural literacy. This community service focuses on intercultural literacy activities by utilizing bilingual storybooks containing local cultural values which are implemented to improve intercultural skills and understanding of the intercultural context. Intercultural literacy will be realized using 4 methods, namely brainstorming, reading practice, discussion of identifying intercultural content in bilingual storybooks, and exploration of the use of storybooks as intercultural literacy media. Through the evaluation conducted after the activity, it was found that teachers' knowledge of intercultural competence was in the "Good" category with an average score of 75. Meanwhile, teachers' understanding and response to digital storybooks as intercultural literacy media reached a score of 1611, which is in the "Very Good" category. After this activity, the explored bilingual storybooks can be an alternative intercultural literacy media for teachers to teach French and Indonesian-French cultural content to students.]]>
