: In the context of vocational high school education, effective communication involves more than just the ability to speak. Vocational high school students must be able to communicate their technical knowledge to people who may not share the same background. This community engagement initiative aims to provide training in effective communication based on digital literacy to pupils at SMK Negeri 1 Klari. The community engagement approach employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR). Consequently, this community engagement project implemented the five stages of PAR in a phased manner. The participants in this activity were Year 11 students at SMK Negeri 1 Klari. The results of this activity indicate that training in effective communication based on digital literacy can be utilised by schools as a tool to instil digital ethics in students prior to undertaking their Work Experience Placement (PKL). Students do not merely practise communication skills, they also identify and analyse digital ethics and responsibilities in the workplace.
