<![CDATA[Art education at the junior high school level not only plays an important role in introducing artistic elements such as color, form, and composition, but also provides students with opportunities to develop their skills in producing artworks. In practice, art-making activities in schools still rely heavily on conventional media such as paper, creating a need for alternative media that can provide more diverse and applicable artistic experiences. Acrylic paint is one medium that can be used to explore color, form, and visual ideas on various surfaces, including fabric-based materials. This community service activity aimed to introduce the use of acrylic paint as a medium for developing junior high school students' artistic skills through practical art activities. The activity was conducted through socialization and a workshop consisting of an introduction to the characteristics of acrylic paint, color identification and mixing, basic techniques for applying paint to fabric, and hands-on practice creating artworks on canvas tote bags. Through these activities, students gained experience in mixing colors, determining compositions, developing visual ideas, and applying painting techniques using acrylic paint. The results of the activity indicate that the use of acrylic paint on canvas tote bags can serve as an alternative art activity that provides students with direct hands-on experience and encourages active participation in the creative process. In addition to producing functional artworks, the activity also introduced students to the potential development of creative products with aesthetic and market value.]]>
