Women of reproductive age require adequate knowledge of reproductive and pregnancy health to support timely decision-making and appropriate health-seeking behavior. This community service program aimed to improve knowledge among women of reproductive age through interactive health education delivered by an obstetrics and gynecology specialist, supported by medical professional students and posyandu cadres. The program was conducted in the Family Fostered Area of Talang Putri, Palembang, using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. A total of 19 mothers participated, including pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and mothers of children under five. The intervention consisted of a 120-minute interactive session covering reproductive health, pregnancy, danger signs, and the safety of fasting during pregnancy. Knowledge was assessed using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test. The mean knowledge score increased from 55.8 to 85.8, with a mean increase of 30.0 points. All participants (100%) demonstrated improved knowledge scores after the intervention, and four participants (21.1%) achieved a perfect post-test score. No participant showed a decreased or unchanged score. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test showed a statistically significant difference (Z = –3.82; p < 0.001). Interactive reproductive and pregnancy health education effectively improved knowledge among women of reproductive age in Talang Putri and may serve as a practical, participatory, and sustainable model for community-based maternal health education.
