Umbu Mamijuk Village in West Umbu Ratu Nggay District, Central Sumba Regency, possesses abundant local food resources such as maize, cassava, sweet potatoes, bananas, and legumes, alongside a "Diverse, Nutritionally Balanced, and Safe" (B2SA) Food Outlet. However, their utilization remains limited to traditional consumption with low economic value-added. The partner, Hibur Maringu Women Farmers Group (KWT), faces challenges including low skills in value-added food processing, limited packaging knowledge, and weak household business financial management. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to address these issues through an appropriate technology-based empowerment approach, incorporating: training on local food diversification using cassava (MOCAF flour) and pumpkin into MOCAF Elephant Ear Cookies and MOCAF-Pumpkin Sticks, packaging training, and financial management capacity building. The program was executed continuously using a participatory approach through preparation, technical training and hands-on production practice, intensive mentoring, and monitoring-evaluation. The results demonstrated enhanced partner skills in producing 2 flagship MOCAF-based products, adoption of attractive packaging and branding, and improved basic financial recording. This program successfully strengthened household economy and supported the local B2SA initiative toward sustainable entrepreneurial independence.
