This study examined the effect of digital comic media based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Pendidikan Pancasila at SDN 040448 Kabanjahe. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. The participants were 60 fifth-grade students, consisting of 30 students in class VA as the experimental group and 30 students in class VB as the control group. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests administered as pretests and posttests. The instrument was tested for validity, reliability, item difficulty, and discrimination. Twenty valid items were selected for the research instrument. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, and an independent-samples t-test. The experimental group obtained a pretest mean of 56.67 and a posttest mean of 81.33, whereas the control group obtained a pretest mean of 53.67 and a posttest mean of 68.67. The independent-samples t-test produced t = 6.887 with df = 58 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. These results indicate a statistically significant difference between the two groups after the learning treatment. The findings show that the use of digital comic media integrated with PBL was associated with higher learning outcomes in the studied Pendidikan Pancasila topic.
