Abstract

This study examines madrasah digitalization based on religious moderation as an integrated management model for improving Islamic education quality at MTs Ummul Quro Putri Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan. Using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design, quantitative data were collected from 344 respondents and analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with four key informants. The findings reveal that madrasah digitalization and religious moderation have a statistically significant but practically modest positive effect on Islamic education quality, both directly and indirectly through integrated management. Digitalization improves instructional effectiveness, administrative services, and data governance, while religious moderation provides an ethical framework for shaping students' tolerance, anti-violence attitudes, and digital responsibility. Integrated management functions as a mediating mechanism connecting technological innovation and religious values with institutional quality improvement. However, the small effect sizes suggest that madrasah quality improvement requires a holistic approach that integrates digitalization, moderation, and management with other institutional factors such as leadership, teacher competence, and organizational culture. The novelty lies in an empirical model integrating technology, religious moderation, and Islamic educational management as a unified framework for madrasah quality development. The study implies that madrasahs should design value-based digital transformation roadmaps, strengthen teachers' digital competence, and embed religious moderation into learning, services, and institutional culture
