This study aims to analyze the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students’ personalities with noble character in the era of globalization. Globalization brings various moral and cultural challenges that potentially influence students’ character, thereby requiring PAI teachers to act as educators, mentors, role models, and agents of Islamic value transformation. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method by analyzing relevant sources on Islamic education, character education, and globalization. The findings reveal that the strategic role of PAI teachers is manifested through the integration of moral values in learning, exemplary behavior, habituation of religious practices, and the strengthening of a conducive educational environment. PAI teachers play not only a role in knowledge transfer but also in holistic character and personality development. Therefore, strengthening pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies of PAI teachers is essential to build a generation with noble character amid globalization.
