<![CDATA[This study examines the implementation of the KIP-K Scholarship policy and students' perceptions of the program at the University of Muhammadiyah Maumere. A qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data were gathered through interviews, documentation, and questionnaires involving the Vice Rector, Dean of FKIP, Student Bureau, Finance Bureau, and KIP-K recipients from the 2022–2024 cohorts. The findings reveal that the program was implemented through six stages: socialization, registration, selection, data verification, fund disbursement, and evaluation. The process generally complied with applicable regulations through an online-based system and centralized selection. Nevertheless, several obstacles emerged, including limited quotas, low discipline among some students, differing recipient priorities, and administrative-related delays in fund disbursement. The university also imposed sanctions such as recipient replacement and fund refunds for violating students. From the students' standpoint, most respondents held positive perceptions of the socialization, registration, benefits, and management of the program. The scholarship was deemed effective in alleviating educational costs and enhancing students' motivation and academic performance. Although the program has been implemented effectively, improvements are still required in transparency, supervision, and timeliness of fund disbursement to make the program more optimal, targeted, and sustainable.]]>
