This community service program aims to enhance school counselors' competencies in applying art-based counseling approaches to deliver more effective, innovative, and student-centered counseling services. The program employed an In-Service Training (IST) method conducted in a face-to-face classroom setting. The target participants were senior high school counselors in Sukoharjo Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate positive and statistically significant improvements in participants' knowledge and skills in delivering counseling services through the application of basic counseling skills supported by art-based media. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test yielded a mean rank of 11.50 and a sum of ranks of 253.00, indicating improvements among 22 participants, while the scores of three participants remained unchanged. Furthermore, the mean score of the 25 participants increased from 56.6 before the training to 78.8 after the training. These findings demonstrate that training in basic counseling skills using art-based media can enhance school counselors' competencies and support the delivery of more effective and innovative counseling services that address students' needs.
