Abstract

ONLINE COUNSELING FOR STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET, SURAKARTA, INDONESIA. The industrial revolution 4.0 resulted in disruptive changes that affected human life. Likewise, the students of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) in fulfilling their academic, personal, social, and career development assignments, also often demanded independence in this disruption era. As the third rank university in Indonesia, according to UniRank 4ICU rating agency, UNS needs to respond to this in order to be able to facilitate the task of developing students from the psychological side. Facilitation that can be done is by providing online counseling services for students. This study aims to describe the level of UNS student needs as initial data in compiling online counseling services. The subjects of this study were 544 students from ten faculties in the UNS that were randomly determined. The results of the analysis showed that the needs of student counseling services included six problem areas namely: personal-social (81%), academic (76%), career (82%), premarital (75%), traumatic (71%), and multicultural (81 %). The results of this study indicate that the level of need for online counseling services for UNS students is quite high. These results need to be followed up with the development of an android-based online counseling service platform in order to improve the quality of psychological services of UNS students.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to develop a coping strategy guide to assist the Vocational High School (SMK) students experiencing career decision-making mistake. This guide consisted of two parts, Guide for School Counselors and Students Worksheet.This study is categorized as Research and Development adapting the concept proposed by Plomp and Nieveent, this is called as educational design research This study comprised of three activities, namely, 1) Preliminary Research; 2) Prototyping Stage; and 3) Assessment Phase. The subject of expert judgment was two Guidance and Counseling experts. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The qualitative technique was done by collaborating the suggestions from the experts. The suggestions were then used as the basis for product improvement. Quantitative technique was carried out using inter-rater agreement model, aiming at discovering the reliability, based on two experts.The score of product feasibility test from the expert's judgment was 1.00 (very strong), meaning that this product is feasible to be used following the determined purpose. This study concluded that the information had met the criteria of product feasibility, based on expert judgment.Key Words: Coping Strategy, REBT counseling, career. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan strategi coping untuk membantu peserta didik SMK yang mengalami ketidaksesuaian pengambilan keputusan karier. Panduan ini terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu buku Panduan Bagi Guru BK dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi konsep Penelitian dan Pengembangan Plomp dan Nieveen yang disebut model penelitian educational design research. Penelitan pengembangan model Plomp ini terdiri dari tiga kegiatan, yaitu 1) Preliminary Research; 2) Prototyping Stage; dan 3) Assesment Phase. Subjek uji ahli adalah dua ahli Bimbingan dan Konseling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam tahap ini yaitu menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan teknik kuantitatif. Teknik kualitatif dilaksanakan dengan cara menggabungkan masukan dan saran dari ahli yang dipilih peneliti, lalu digunakan sebagai dasar perbaikan produk. Sedangkan teknik kuantitatif menggunakan metode inter-rater agreement model yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat reabilitas panduan menurut dua ahli.Hasil dari uji kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan mendapat penilaian ahli sebesal 1,00 (sangat kuat) yang artinya produk ini sudah layak untuk digunakan sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Simpulan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah bahan informasi sudah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan produk berdasarkan uji ahli yang sudah dilakukan.Kata Kunci: strategi coping, konseling REBT, karier.

Abstract

Online crisis counseling merupakan keterampilan baru yang harus dimiliki semua guru BK, sehingga diperlukan pelatihan khusus. Fokus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan asesmen kebutuhan pelatihan online crisis counseling. Penelitian merupakan studi deskriptif. Hasil studi: 1) 89% guru telah mengetahui beda krisis dengan non krisis, sehingga mampu membedakan rencana pemberian bantuan pada konseli sesuai dengan kajian yang ada, 2) 70% guru telah memahami langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan dalam online crisis counseling, 3) 20% guru mampu melaksanakan online crisis counseling. Dibutuhkan adanya penelitian pengembangan panduan tervalidasi tentang online crisis counseling sehingga bisa digunakan secara luas oleh guru BK di sekolah, pelaksanaan training need assessment di wilayah lainnya dengan kondisi lapang serupa dengan metode perancangan  yang lebih baik, dan penelitian eksperimen untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan training need assessment untuk meningkatkan kompetensi online crisis counseling kelompok tertentu.

Abstract

Studi didasarkan pada pentingnya keterampilan konseling guru Bimbingan dan Konseling di masa COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian adalah memaparkan hasil studi empirik mengenai keefektifan pelatihan insight photo therapy untuk meningkatkan keterampilan konseling Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen single-group pretest-posttest design melalui analisis paired samples t-test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dari masing-masing aspek keterampilan konseling diketahui nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, artinya ada perbedaan mean pretest dan posttest keterampilan konseling melalui insight photo therapy. Hal ini bermakna bahwa pelatihan insight photo therapy efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan konseling Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian pada penelitian-penelitian primer terdahulu mengenai capacity building dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini penting untuk dilakukan sebab meningkat dan bergesernya kebutuhan masyarakat akan perbaikan dalam dunia pendidikan seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Pihak internal dalam sekolah perlu menyelaraskan kebutuhan pendidikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Seluruh unsur pendidikan perlu melakukan capacity building dengan harapan meningkatkan kompetensi dan meningkatkan kualitas pemberian layanan pada peserta didik. Referensi terkait capacity building dalam pendidikan belum tersedia secara sistematis, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk merangkum literatur menjadi satu bahan kajian komprehensif. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan systematic literature review desain Kitchenham (2004). Tiga langkah utama dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: planning the review, conducting the review, dan reporting the review. Penelitian ini melibatkan 19 sumber referensi primer yang diperoleh dari artikel, jurnal, dan konferensi prosiding nasional dan internasional. Seluruh referensi dikumpulkan sesuai dengan karakteristik systematic literature review. Semua referensi tersebut digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana urgensi, prosedur, kriteria, dan hasil aplikasi capacity building dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan melakukan penelitian-penelitian berikutnya. Rekomendasi penelitian yang perlu dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan panduan capacity building untuk unsur-unsur pendidikan, eksperimen tentang capacity building dalam pendidikan, dan riset evaluatif tentang capacity building dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe the hedonism lifestyle profile, (2) Describe the learning motivation profile, (3) Describe the difference in hedonism lifestyle of male students and female students, (4) Describe the difference in the hedonism lifestyle of soshum students with saintek (5) Analyze the influence between hedonism lifestyle on the learning motivation of aiming students at Surakarta. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, Independent Sample T-test, simple linear regression analysis using a summary model, and simple correlation analysis. The results of this study showed that: (1) The majority of students aiming at FKIP UNS Class of 2017 had a low hedonism lifestyle (70.9%); (2) The majority of students  have moderate learning motivation (64%); (3) There is no significant difference between the hedonistic lifestyle of male students and female students; (4) There is no significant difference between the hedonistic lifestyle of scientific students and social studies students; (5) There is a significant negative correlation between hedonism lifestyle on learning motivation with a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05 and a correlation coefficient value of (-0.497). The increase in a hedonism lifestyle is accompanied by decreased learning motivation. Vice versa, the decline in hedonism lifestyle is accompanied by increased learning motivation.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to test the effectiveness of The Occupational Information Network (O*Net) Content Model to Develop Career Construction for Teachers in implementing guidance and counseling services in schools. The research method is experimental with single group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 30 of Special Job Fair Teachers and 30 of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Boyolali Regency. The instrument used is the career construction scale. The data analysis technique uses a different test (paired sample t-test). Research activities include in service training and on the job training. The research results showed an increase in scores from the initial measurement (pretest) of teacher competency mastery in fostering career construction with the final measurement (posttest) of 32.509 with a significance value [2-tail] of 0.000. These results show the effectiveness of The Occupational Information Network (O*Net) Content Model to Grow Career Construction through the extraordinary commitment, hard work and desire to learn of Guidance and Counseling Teachers. The hope is that they will be able to carry out experiential learning in their respective schools so as to create many best practices that can be referred to by other Guidance and Counseling teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to develop KANVAS ALAM, an eco-art therapy-based group guidance program designed to enhance flourishing among undergraduate education students. Flourishing, rooted in Seligman's PERMA framework, refers to optimal well-being encompassing positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment. Employing the ADDIE research and development model, this study proceeded through analysis, design, and development stages. A preliminary needs assessment involving 497 undergraduate education students revealed that 38% exhibited moderate to low flourishing levels, underscoring the need for targeted interventions. The KANVAS ALAM program was structured across three sessions aligned with flourishing dimensions: meaning in life, social connectedness, and optimism about the future. Each session integrates nature-based creative activities, including drawing, mandala creation, and collage techniques. Expert validation was conducted by four specialists in guidance and counseling and art, who evaluated program components including rationale, needs analysis, objectives, facilitator competencies, operational plans, and evaluation indicators. Results confirmed the program's feasibility with revisions recommended in facilitator training, activity processes, media utilization, and reflection components. KANVAS ALAM represents a novel contribution as the first structured intervention integrating eco-art therapy into group guidance services specifically targeting flourishing in educational settings. This innovation extends counseling services beyond problem-solving toward positive psychological development. Future research should examine program effectiveness through quasi-experimental designs and explore long-term impacts on student well-being and academic outcomes.
