Science learning at the junior high school level requires experimental learning experiences so that physics, chemistry, and biology concepts can be understood contextually. However, limitations and suboptimal utilization of laboratory equipment can constrain practical activities. This community service activity aimed to empower the science laboratory of SMPS Islam Ideal School through the development of simple, applicable, and needs-oriented practical supporting equipment. The activity methods included laboratory observation and inventory, kit design and assembly, preparation of practical guides, and training and demonstrations for teachers and students. Three kits were developed: a Bio-Battery kit, a water filtration kit, and a carbohydrate analysis kit. The results showed that the kits could be used as supporting media for science learning and practical activities. The partner school responded positively and showed enthusiasm toward utilizing the developed equipment. The activity contributed to improving laboratory utilization as an active, contextual, and applicable science learning facility.
