Abstract

Preparedness for menarche can be achieved by providing information and attention to young women when facing menarche so that they will be calmer and ready to welcome the arrival of menarche. The initial survey, conducted by the researchers using an interview method involving four elementary school students who had experienced menarche, revealed that they experienced panic and embarrassment when facing menarche. They did not obtain information on menarche from their parents (mothers). Several findings have shown that their readiness to face menarche is still low. Mothers' awkwardness in providing information directly to young women can be overcome by using media in the form of e-mobiles or the internet. A pre-experiment using a single-group pretest-posttest methodology without a control group is the type of study design that will be used. The study variable was teenage girls' knowledge of reproductive health in preparation for menarche. A t-test was used for data analysis. The study was conducted between March and December 2023. SD Negeri 07 Pagi in the Ciracas District of East Jakarta served as the research site. The study population consisted of female pupils in classes 3, 4, 5, and 6 who had not yet reached menarche. Adolescent reproductive health, young women's preparation for menarche, and views on the usage of menarche information were the topics covered in the questionnaire. The initial readiness variable (pre-test) of young women and the results of the readiness (post-test) of young women after obtaining reproductive health information using the women's menarche information application obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < α (0.05), as did the Paired T-test of the initial understanding variable (pre-test) of teenage girls with the variable of understanding results (post-test) of teenage girls. Young women's pre- and post-test understandings and readiness differed significantly from one another. They also differed significantly from one another in terms of their initial readiness and subsequent readiness following the use of the menarche information application to obtain reproductive health information.

Abstract

The information systems success strategy contributes to understanding of digitalization. This research aims to evaluate user satisfaction with the e-learning system continuously. The research method is hybrid, combining constructs of a unified theory of acceptance and use of technology, the technology acceptance model, and service quality (SVQ). Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires targeting instructors. Data analysis utilized structural equation modeling with partial least squares. This method was used to test the measurement model with factor loadings and average variance extracted (AVE) above 0.5. Meanwhile, validity testing on cross-loading had indicator values for each variable higher than other variables, with composite reliability above 0.7. These results were supported by hypothesis testing, which indicated that website quality positively influences user satisfaction, leading to sustained intention. The original sample obtained a value of 0.633; mean of 0.624; standard deviation of 0.105, and a p-value below 0.01. Additionally, user subjective norms have a strong relationship between sustained intention and system appropriateness, of 0.763 in using e-learning.

Abstract

This research paper systematically reviews the financial system’s computer security risks associated with information theft. The objective is to explore the security risks and their implications concerning information theft in the economic system. Three research questions were formulated to identify these risks, their nature, and potential consequences to achieve this objective. Fifty-five articles obtained from reliable databases linked to both study variables were analyzed using the PRISMA methodology. To ensure the validity and reliability of the information, various filters were applied, such as year, keywords, and elimination of duplicate articles. In addition, an exhaustive reading of the content of each article was carried out, organizing all the information through a systematization matrix. After a thorough review of the research articles, mostly written in English and representing 34.55% of the total in 2023, risks associated with the financial sector were identified, including malware, ransomware, phishing, distributed denial of service (DDoS), hybrid XSS, eavesdropping, and social engineering. Geographically, India leads with 14.55% of the articles, followed by South Korea and the United States, with 12.72% each, while the other countries have lower percentages. In conclusion, these risks coincide with previous research and the consequences they generate, highlighting the importance of this type of study for the basis of scientific research.

Abstract

Currently, educational institutions around the world have implemented many standards and rules to ensure teaching quality. Many of these standards and rules are related to the use of technologies that provide students with services and facilities to learn. However, in Peru, a Latin American country, these standards and rules have been recently implemented, and as a result, information systems are required to guarantee teaching quality. This research exposes the implementation of a mobile application for distributing and managing information for students and teachers who require data about courses, grades, absences, and receive news about important university announcements. This work applied both research methods and Scrum methodologies together to demonstrate how the education process benefits from the use of technologies. As a result of these implementations, processes like finding academic information improved by an average of 50%. These results support that the implementation of mobile application technologies in educational environments is beneficial for guaranteeing process improvement and teaching quality.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between accounting students' cumulative grade point average (GPA) and their information technology proficiency and motivation to learn. In the current digital era, success in the accounting business, where managing and reporting financial data is essential, increasingly depends on having a strong information technology background. The study used a survey methodology and a quantitative approach, focusing on 50 accounting students in Medan. A standardized questionnaire measuring demographics, learning motivation, and IT comprehension was used to gather data. Information technology knowledge and GPA have a significant positive link (p = 0.001), according to the data, suggesting that improving students' IT proficiency can significantly raise their academic achievement. On the other hand, learning motivation's impact on GPA is not statistically significant (p = 0.096), indicating that although motivation is relevant, other elements might be more crucial for academic achievement. To improve overall academic performance in accounting education, the findings highlight the necessity for educational institutions to concentrate on enhancing students' IT comprehension in addition to learning motivation tactics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of accounting education, motivation, and the availability of job information on accounting students' interest in a career as an accountant. The phenomenon of shifting student interest in choosing a career outside accounting may threaten the availability of professional accountants in the future. Using a quantitative approach and a systematic survey design, data were collected from 100 students of accounting study programs in Medan who had taken the "Basic Accounting" course. The analysis results show that accounting education has a significant influence on student interest (T-statistic 2.927, P-Value 0.002), followed by learning motivation (T-statistic 4.214, P-Value 0.000) and availability of job information (T-statistic 2.715, P-Value 0.043). The R² value of 0.757 indicates that the three variables explain 75% of the variation in students' interest in a career as an accountant. These findings emphasize the importance of improving the quality of accounting education, strong motivation among students, and adequate access to job information. Recommendations are given for universities to design more relevant and informative educational programs to increase students' interest in the accounting profession in a sustainable manner.
