Abstract

Nilai Kinerja Dosen (NKD) system in higher education institutions can help managers to monitor the teacher learning activity periodically . The information generated by NKD system is limited with statistical data only and with text content only. This study observed the data output from the NKD system can be processed into more valuable information and have good information visualization. One part of this research is develop a dashboard information prototype with data-centric approach. The selection of data-centric approach for quantity and variety factors of data that are found can be visualized. This study found that interactivity and analytical factors in NKD dashboard information not quite satisfy users who are top level.

Abstract

Music is an integral part in human life nowadays. Musical instruments that is being used commonly by the musician is piano. The piano is used because of its widest range of musical notes compared to other musical instruments, and those enable musician to compose musical notes with a piano. In general, there is one obstacle that prevents musician to have a piano, and that is the expensive price of a piano.On this Final Assignment, there is a java based piano composer applet that runs on the web platform to provide an easier way to play a piano and music composition online. With this application, the user only need to compose the musical score, then the application itself will process it into a MIDI formatted file.Based on the survey held with some musicians, can be concluded that the piano composer application can be used by the user to play piano and to compose musical notes very well.

Abstract

Davit Irawan, Perancangan Sistem Pemetaan Lokasi Fasilitas Umum Berbasis Geographic Information System dan Location Based Service Pada Kota Lubuklinggau. Ketika Penulis melakukan penelitian terhadap Pemetaan Lokasi Fasilitas Umum pada Kota Lubuklinggau, penulis mendapati bahwa Fasilitas-Fasilitas tersebut tidak menyediakan layanan Informasi melalui internet atau Online. Fasilitas tersebut hanya bisa Didatangi dan mendapat informasi dari Lokasi Fasilitas itu saja. Metode yang digunakan dalam Perancangan sistem Pemetaan Lokasi Fasilitas umum pada Kota Lubuklinggau ini, serta untuk mengetahui sistem yang sedang berjalan, menggunakan pendekatan terstruktur, dengan menggunakan alat bantu seperti UML, Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram dan Class Diagram, sedangkan untuk metode pengembangan sistemnya menggunakan Metode Prototype. Perangkat lunak pendukung yang digunakan adalah Wamp, Macromedia Dreamweaver CS3, dan database MySql sebagai pembangun serta dokumentasi program dan laporan.Dengan adanya sistem Berbasis Web ini, yang sudah terkoneksi dengan internet, tentunya akan sangat mempermudah Masyarakat baik dari Luar atau dalam Wilayah Lubuklinggau Mengetahui Temapat yang akan Mereka tuju dengan Mudah.

Abstract

Abstract: Pessimism and attitudes that consider themselves weak and does not have the ability when facing a problem will make individual impediment in the task of development. Problems confidence that underlies the research are: a) Students are less confident in the ability it has, b) Students feel pessimistic when faced with an issue, c) Student perception subjectively, d) Students still do not do the work independently, and e) negative minded students with a state-owned. The problems of this study are whether there is an influence of information services using the medium of film to the confidence of eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Metro. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of information services using the medium of film to the self-confidence of students in class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Metro. Subject participant is graders VIII-E total 30 students. Data were collected by questionnaire self-confidence and analyzed the data used is the t-test. The results of this study, shown by the difference in change scores of confidence from the pre-test and post-test of 17.1. Testing the hypothesis obtained calculation results thitung6,036> table = 1.699. The conclusion is that the information services implemented using the film medium can be a positive influence on self-esteem, especially students of class VIII. The advice given is to use the medium of film should be done intensively and more creative by BK teachers in giving information service.Keywords: Confidence, Service Information Using Media Film.

Abstract

Goals to be achieved researchers that want to know the provision of information services can improve students' learning activities in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Metro Semester Academic Year 2013/2014. The design of this research using action research service. The subject in this study is a Class VII the number of students is 20 students. The results of this study, it can be concluded that the information services in improving student learning activities Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Metro is we can see from this change in behavior of students there is an increase in students' learning activities that occur on the first cycle of 39.5% and the second cycle by 76%, resulting in an increase of 36.5%.Keywords: learning activities, information services, smp negeri 2 metro

Abstract

Abstract: One of the factors that can influence student learning is the motivation to learn. Students' motivation can be built with an understanding to students about the importance of learning how to learn effectively, and how to overcome learning problems. Departing from this, the research problem is formulated as follows: Is there any influence of information services on the students motivation ?. The aim of research to determine the effect of information services on the students motivation. The study design was one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects numbered 20 students. To determine the study subjects used the technique Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling.Hasil hypothesis test showed the value of t = 8.75> 1.729. The conclusion of the study is an information service that executed can affect motivation. Therefore, it is advisable to guidance and counseling teachers use information services by using the medium of film, so that the services effectively organized and able to enhance students' motivation.Keyword: Information Services, Motivation

Abstract

Informasi merupakan aset paling penting yang dimiliki oleh sebuah organisasi. Di era perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat ini, semua informasi yang dimiliki dapat disimpan dan dikelola secara digital. Hal ini membuat proses pengelolaan informasi di dalam organisasi menjadi semakin efektif dan efisien. Di sisi lain, keamanan informasi menjadi suatu hal yang mutlak untuk dipenuhi oleh organisasi. Kebocoran informasi pada sebuah organisasi akan berakibat tidak baik bagi keberlangsungan organisasi tersebut. Keamanan informasi harus memenuhi aspek CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity, dan Availability). Dengan semakin pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, ancaman terhadap aspek C.I.A (Confidentiality, Integrity, dan Availability) dalam sebuah organisasi juga semakin tinggi. Jika salah satu dari aspek C.I.A tersebut tidak dapat dipenuhi oleh organisasi, maka akurasi dan ketersediaan informasi pada organisasi tersebut akan dipertanyakan dan kepercayaan para pengguna informasi tersebut akan menurun sehingga berdampak besar bagi kelangsungan operasional organisasi. STMIK STIKOM Bali merupakan sebuah perguruan tinggi di bidang Teknologi Informasi di Bali yang saat ini sudah memiliki lebih dari 5000 mahasiswa. Hal tersebut membuat kompleksitas pengelolaan informasi yang dimiliki oleh STIKOM Bali cukup tinggi, sehingga aspek keamanan informasi yang dimiliki oleh STIKOM Bali menjadi sangat penting. Namun hingga saat ini belum dilakukan suatu manajemen keamanan informasi yang baik dan terstruktur yang berdasarkan kepada standar keamanan informasi bagi suatu organisasi. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan proses analisa manajemen keamanan informasi pada infrastruktur teknologi informasi yang ada di STMIK STIKOM Bali, dan didapat hasil pengukuran tingkat kematangan sebesar 1,72 (Initial/Ad Hoc).

Abstract

Pencarian pada database yang biasa dilakukan mahasiswa hanya mampu mencari judul yang sesuai berdasarkan kata kunci yang diinputkan, misalnya, jika kata kunci yang dimasukkan adalah “sistem cerdas” maka akan ditampilkan semua dokumen yang mengandung kata “sistem cerdas” namun sistem tidak bisa mengukur mana dokumen yang paling mirip. Untuk dapat melakukan pencarian berdasar substansi  yang  paling  mirip,    terdapat  teknologi  yang  disebut  information  Text  Retrieval.  Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan suatu sistem temu kembali informasi judul tugas akhir dan perhitungan kemiripan dokumen menggunakan vector space model. Sistem secara otomatis akan melakukan indexing secara offline dan temu kembali (retrieval) secara real time. Proses retrieval dimulai dengan mengambil query dari pengguna, menerapkan stop word removal sehingga dihasilkan keyword yang compaq tetapi dapatmewakili query tersebut, kemudian sistem menghitung kemiripan antarakeyword dengan daftar dokumen  yang  diwakili  oleh  term-term  di  dalam  index.  Dokumen  akan  ditampilkan  diurutkan berdasarkan dokumen yang paling mirip.Dari hasil pengujian terlihat ketika keyword “android” dimasukkan maka akan tampil empat dokumen yang diurutkan sesuai tingkat kemiripannya, yaitu docId 3 dengan tingkat kemiripan 0.9512, docId 4 dengan tingkat kemiripan 0.5020, docId 2 dengan tingkat kemiripan 0.2671, docId 8 dengan tingkat kemiripan 0.1522.

Abstract

Reproductive health information including STIs and HIV/AIDS has been provided in community health center. In fact, the level of adolescent knowledge in terms of sexual health and its risks is still low. This study aims to identify adolescent needs of information services on sexual and reproductive health including STIs and HIV/AIDS. All adolescent aged 15 to 19 years in Ngesrep village were recruited as a sample. There were 237 adolescents participated in this cross sectional study. The findings showed that half of them have low level of knowledge, nearly half have permissive sexual attitudes, 15% have engaged in sexual intercourse. Adolescents need comprehensive information including pregnancy, sexual diseases and HIV/AIDS which provided by health workers at school health programs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of improving the students’ competence in expressing “asking for and giving information and to know the students’ achievement in expressing “”asking for and giving information at the seventh grade of SMP N I Semanding, Tuban. This research is carried by using classroom action research. The subject of the study is class A of seventh grade of SMP N I Semanding, Tuban. The writer only takes class A that consists of 30 students. In conducting the research, the writer uses the procedure of classroom action research. They are planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting. In collecting the data the writer uses the following procedures: Conducting the observation and giving test. In analyzing the data the writer uses the procedure of collecting data. they are describing the process of improving the students’ competence, correcting the students test, and describing the students’ achievement. Based on the research result, it is found that the process of improving the students’ competence in expressing”asking for and giving information” is done in two cycles. In cycle 1, the students had not been able to achieve “KKM” (kriteria kelayakan minimal). Then the writer continouses the second cycle. Finally all students Achieved “KKM”. Based on the result of the test, it is found that some of the students had not been able to achive “KKM” at first cycle. Then, the writer did the second cycle. Based on the test result of second cycle, it is found that all students had achieved more than 65. It is the score of “KKM”. The varage score is 73,5. It is categorized as good. It can be concluded that chit-chat game can improve the students’ ability of the seventh grade of SMP N I Semanding, Tuban in expressing “asking for and giving information”
