Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and provide empirical evidence of significant influence of Budget Participation, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Culture, Job Relevant Information and Locus Of Control on the Performance of Personnel of Finance Division at Klaten District Education Office. The population in this study is the financial officer of Education Department of Klaten Regency that meets the criteria, so that the sample that meets the criteria and can be studied as much as 34 employee of finance department to be the repondent. The method of analysis in this study consisted of, instrument testing, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and R2 test. Instrument test results show that the instrument statement is valid and reliable. Instrument test results show that the instrument statement is valid and reliable. The results of the classical assumption test show that all variables have a normal distribution, free from multicollinearity, does not contain any heterokedastisitas and there is no autocorrelation. The result of hypothesis testing shows that Budget Participation has positive and not significant effect on Employee Performance of Finance Department, Organizational Commitment have positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance of Finance Division, Job Satisfaction has negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance of Finance Department, Job Relevant Information has negative effect and not significant to Employee Performance Finance Section, Organizational Culture have a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance Finance Section, Locus Of Control have positive and significant effect to Performance of Finance Officer. The result of R2 test (coefficient of determination) is known that Budget Participation, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction, Job Relevant Information, Organizational Culture, and Locus Of Control are able to explain 38,3% to Employee Performance variable of Finance Department, while the rest equal to 61,7% explained by other variables such as motivation, work discipline, and work environment. Keywords: Employee Performance Finance Section, Budget Participation, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction, Job Relevant Information, Organizational Culture, and Locus Of Control

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that occurred in class VII-C 26 Bandung Junior High School that is the low skills of students information literacy in social studies learning. It could seen by still low of student information searching there is only a few students in the group who actively seek information and write it in the task book or worksheet student activity while other group members only see his friends who do the task. In addition, when given the task to seek information in the form of articles the result there are still students who only get information without regarding where they get the information source and then without summarize it is first to make it becomes more effective information. Seeing these problems it is necessary to make improvements in social studies learning that makes students have the skills in identifying, seeking, processing, analyzing, evaluating and communicating information on social studies learning. This research uses Classroom action Research with Kemmis Taggart model design which consists of planning, acting observing and reflecting and is done in four cycles. Researchers try to apply discovery learning model in social studies learning to develop students' information literacy skills. The expected achievement is illustrated on improving the literacy skills of information based on the indicators in the observation guidelines. The success of this research is seen from the improvement of students' information literacy skills shown through the development of several aspects or indicators of information literacy skills such as wanting to find unfinished information submitted by teachers, identifying issues relevant to lessons, organizing information source search strategies, linking various information so that it becomes solutive information, communicating the information findings and makes conclusions based on the information obtained. The most perceived obstacle in this research is the difficulty of organizing and disciplining students when doing observation activities in learning activities. The results of this study indicate that the skills of student information literacy can be developed or improved through the application of the discovery learning model with a very effective in learning social studies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to critically evaluate information technology, organizational commitment, internal control, and the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance and describe how the key elements of these constructs contribute to the performance of PT. Bank Maluku. To this end, a sample of 40 employees at PT Bank Maluku is identified and examined using non probability purposive sampling. Primary data results from questionnaires complemented by interviews for data collection. The data is analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple regression that includes descriptive statistics and reliability and validity test of the research instrument. The research study proceeds to classical assumption test including multicollinearity test, hypothesis testing within the model and discussion on result. The results of the analysis based on t test greatly vary. Information technology is found negative and non significant in organizational performance. Both organizational commitment and internal control, to the contrary, pose positive yet non significant effect on organizational performance, while the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance poses positive relationship and are statistically significant in organizational performance.

Abstract

Analysis of hydrological data is needed to determine the rainfall characteristics that suitable to space and time. Analysis of hydrological data can interpret the possibility of an upcoming event based on the data from the past. This interpretation uses probability distribution. The probability distribution that commonly used is Gamma Distribution, Exponential Distribution, Normal Distribution, Normal Log Distribution, Gumbel Distribution, and Log Person III Distribution. The purpose of this study was to choose the probability distribution based on Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and to determine its compatibility with the Chi Square test and the Smirnov Kolmogorov test. The maximum likelihood value of each data distribution is evaluated by AIC value. The distribution that has the smallest AIC values were re-tested with Chi Square test and Smirnov Kolmogorov test. The results showed that in the Siak River Basin, Normal Distribution has the smallest AIC value with AIC value -2.203 for Buatan Station, -2.486 for Kandis Station, -2.939 for Pekanbaru Station and -3.184 for Petapahan Baru Station. However, Normal Distribution can not be accepted as the best distribution according to Chi Square test and Smirnov Kolmogorov test.Keywords: Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), Probability Distribution, Chi Square test, Smirnov Kolmogorov test

Abstract

An Investment Information Systems Information Technology (IT / SI) generally require a feasibility study as well as the calculation of benefits and advantages before the investment. Several approaches are used to calculate the benefits and advantages of IT investment / SI, one of which is the Information Economics (IE) Approaches Information Economics is used in the analysis of an IT investment / SI and the development of Traditional Cost and Benefit Analysis (TCBA) involving factors economically justified business and technology in the form of financial, benefits, and risks of IT / SI them. Excellence IE method lies in its ability to take into account the benefits that half of tangible and intangible that is often overlooked by the management. The results of the feasibility study on patient and service system information at  Mojoagung Eye Clinic the investment worth to implementation because  give benefit such as ROI of 22.50%, and the payback period between 4 and 5 years after investment. Keywords: Information Systems, feasibility study, Information Economics

Abstract

Kompleksitas urusan pajak yang tinggi dan faktor ekonomi bisa menyebabkan ketidaktaatan pembayar pajak. Paper ini melaporkan tiga eksperimen yang meneliti faktor-faktor tersebut secara simultan dalam kerangka belief revision theory (Einhorn & Hogarth, 1985; Hogarth & Einhorn. 1989). Di samping itu, penelitian ini memperluas temuan sebelumnya dengan meneliti pengaruh perubahan keyakinan (belief revision; pada keiaaian membayar pajak. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa penyajian informasi secara berurutan dan konsisten punya pengaruh kecil pada perubahan keyakinan Relief revision; seseorang, sedangkan penyajian informasi secara campuran fmixedj punya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perubahan keyakinan (belief change; individu lentang keiaaian pajak. Di samping hasil tersebul, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa perubahan keyakinan pembayar pajak berpengaruh pada ketaaiannya dalam membayar pajak, namun pengaruh tersebut lergantung juga pada pengaruh reinforcer ratio. Temuan-temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengambilan keputusan yang kompleks, seperti halnya ketaatan dalam membayar pajak, tidak bisa hanya diamati dari sudut psikologi kognilif ataupun behavioral, melainkan harus dilihat dengan dua perspektif tersebut sekaligus.

Abstract

Lampu Jalan merupakan sarana pelengkap jalan yang memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan penerangan pada malam hari. Pengelolaan lampu jalan merupakan tanggung jawab dari pemerintah sebagai wujud pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. Namun dalam pengelolaannya sering terjadi permasalahan. Diantaranya adalah lampu jalan yang tidak berfungsi. Sehingga masyarakat banyak yang mengeluh. Untuk itu telah dibangun Sistem Informasi Lampu Jalan (SILJ) berbasiskan SMS Gateway dan Geographical Information System (GIS) yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan lampu jalan. Masalah itu terkait dengan pertanyaan a) dimana lokasi terjadinya gangguan? b) siapa yang melaporkan terjadinya gangguan? c) apa jenis gangguannya? d) siapa yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengatasinya? dan e) dimana lokasi panel lampu jalannya? Metoda Waterfall yang terdiri dari analisa, design, coding dan test digunakan dalam kajian ini. Dari permasalahan yang ada telah dirancang satu database. Sistem ini melibatkan masyarakat, petugas dan operator. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah diberlakukan satu aturan yang mudah dalam pengiriman SMS dari masyarakat dan petugas. Tahapan penyelesaian masalah dibagi atas 5 tahapan, yaitu tahapan pengaduan masyarakat, tahapan pengecekan gangguan, tahapan hasil pengecekan, tahapan perbaikan gangguan dan tahapan laporan hasil. Sistem Informasi ini dibangun dengan menggunakan Visual Basic, MapInfo dan Foxbase. Koneksi MapInfo dan Visual Basic menggunakan teknik OLE Automation. Perangkat HP GSM Motorola E398 digunakan sebagai modem. MapInfo digunakan untuk menampilkan peta lokasi lampu jalan. Wilayah cakupan kajian ini adalah wilayah berau Kalimantan Timur. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan secara Black Box Test, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi ini telah dapat menjawab kelima permasalahan lampu jalan.

Abstract

Pemahaman akan teknologi sangatlah dibutuhkan seorang guru saat ini agar mampu bersaing pada era MEA . Information Communication Technologi (ICT)  adalah salah satu bidang kajian yang beberapa tahun kebelakang mulai berkembang di negara kita dan telah banyak diimplementasikan dalam berbagai bidang Beberapa hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan pula bahwa pembelajaran berbasis ICT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi pada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon guru biologi terhadap pemanfaatan ICT dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keseluruhan guru yang menjadi sampel  merasa tertarik dengan pemanfaatan ICT dalam proses pembelajaran,  dengan tingkat ketertarikan berada pada katagori kuat (74,73%), hal ini dapat berarti bahwa pemanfaatan ICT dalam proses pembelajaran akan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the process of implementation of the Marketing InformationSystem (MkIS), especially the efforts and constraint-based constraints on information that canbe at. Astra Motor vehicle, which is located on the highway Ciputat, South Jakarta. A companythat is engaged in trading of motor vehicles, especially motorcycles Honda brand. PT. AstraMotor vehicle (Pondok Pinang) is an authorized dealer of PT. Astra International Inc., for theHonda brand vehicles, which include standard motor types, ducks types, scooter and also metictypes.Research methods used are based on survey research which described so as to produceinformation that can clarifi, the picture about the process of implementation of Marketing InformationSysterns (MkIS). Data obtained based on the observation and interviews and the literatureon computerized information systems marketing.Business developments that cause the company's advanced enough they did some adjustmentsand changes in the Marketing Information System since 2007. This change is to addresschallenges and constraints faced in the marketing field, so that the overall increase in sales onmarketing.
