Abstract

Digital transformation has become critical for SMEs in emerging economies, yet integrated studies combining AI, cloud computing, and human factors remain scarce. This study addresses this gap by developing a holistic framework for Indonesian SMEs through a systematic literature review. Using PRISMA protocol, we analyzed 46 peer-reviewed articles (2020-2025) from Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar, with thematic synthesis in NVivo 12.  The proposed framework reveals three interdependent dimensions: (1) technological integration (AI-cloud-big data synergy), (2) process optimization (automation and analytics), and (3) human-digital leadership (competency and cultural readiness). Case studies show 35% operational efficiency gains but highlight infrastructure and skill gaps. This study contributes a novel integration of TOGAF and DCMM theories, offering policymakers a roadmap for SME digitalization while cautioning against one-size-fits-all solutions.

Abstract

This study develops a comprehensive Hybrid AI-Cloud conceptual model to enhance government information systems through digital transformation. Using a systematic literature review (PRISMA protocol) of 51 publications (2020-2025) from Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and ScienceDirect, we identify four critical components: a hybrid architecture combining private and public clouds achieves 97.46% prediction accuracy but faces interoperability challenges in Indonesia where 85% of agencies use disparate systems; layered security with Hyperledger Fabric blockchain reduces data breaches by 72%, though 65% of Indonesian institutions lack CSIRT teams; user-centric designs score 76.88 on SUS scales yet encounter 71% civil servant resistance to AI automation; and organizational adoption strategies based on UTAUT frameworks are hindered by only 12% of civil servants having digital certifications. The research reveals Indonesia's significant gaps in system integration, cybersecurity preparedness, and digital literacy compared to global leaders like Estonia and Singapore. Successful implementation requires standardized cloud architectures with API gateways, mandatory cybersecurity audits, comprehensive digital training programs, and phased adoption roadmaps with change management components. While offering a holistic framework for digital government transformation, the study acknowledges limitations including literature bias toward developed nations and the need for local empirical validation through pilot projects, suggesting future research should incorporate ethical AI governance considerations alongside technical implementations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the internal control system and the use of information technology on the quality of the Jambi Provincial Government's financial reports with human resource competency as a moderating variable. The study population was all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Jambi Province with a sample of 84 respondents consisting of the Head of Finance Subdivision, Finance Treasurer, and Finance Staff. The research method used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis and interaction test (Moderated Regression Analysis) with the help of SPSS version 30. The results showed that the internal control system and the use of information technology had an effect on the quality of financial reports. In addition, human resource competency was proven to significantly moderate the relationship between the internal control system and the use of information technology on the quality of financial reports. This indicates that the successful implementation of the internal control system and information technology is highly dependent on the level of human resource competency in managing and operating both. This research provides important implications for the Jambi Provincial Government to continue improving internal controls, technology utilization, and human resource competency to enhance the quality of accurate, reliable, and transparent financial reports. Furthermore, it is recommended that future research include additional variables and expand the sample size to obtain more comprehensive results.

Abstract

Sexual violence in schools is a serious issue that can negatively impact the mental and physical well-being of students. The lack of an integrated system for reporting and monitoring cases often results in suboptimal prevention and response efforts. This study aims to design and implement an executive information system that assists school management, especially decision-makers, in making data-driven decisions regarding the prevention and handling of sexual violence. The system development follows the waterfall method, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. The result of this research is a web-based system with an interactive dashboard that displays case reports, incident trends, and follow-up recommendations. The system was tested using usability testing and the results indicated that the system is user-friendly and effectively supports the decision-making process. The implementation of this executive information system is expected to enhance responsiveness, transparency, and effectiveness in addressing sexual violence within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and apply the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) method in determining overhead costs in the rice processing industry at MGS Tanjung Selamat Rice Mill. Conventional methods often cause distortions in the allocation of overhead costs, which have an impact on the inaccuracy in the calculation of the cost of goods manufactured (COGS). To overcome this problem, this research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a system development model based on the Waterfall method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation studies, which were then analyzed to identify the main production activities and the most influential cost drivers. The results showed that the ABC method was able to improve the accuracy of overhead cost calculation, optimize cost allocation to each production activity, and support more strategic business decision-making. In addition, this research produced a software-based system to facilitate the implementation of the ABC method in the company. With the implementation of ABC, MGS Tanjung Selamat Rice Mill can set a more competitive selling price and identify less efficient activities to be improved.

Abstract

This study examines the sustainability of the implementation of the School Management Information System (SIMS) in Public Senior High Schools in Indonesia using a mixed methods approach and an explanatory sequential design. The focus of the study is to measure the levels of effectiveness, accountability, as well as the internal and external factors influencing the sustainability of SIMS. Quantitative data were collected through surveys involving at least 100 respondents, while qualitative data was obtained from in-depth interviews and focused group discussions. The results indicate that the sustainability of SIMS is influenced by human resource capacity, school policies, organizational culture, local government support, and technological infrastructure. SIMS has been proven to enhance the effectiveness and accountability of educational management, yet the sustainability of the system requires synergy between technical readiness and consistent policy support. These findings enrich the theory of information system management in the educational context and provide practical implications for policymakers and school administrators in designing sustainable SIMS implementation strategies. The study also identifies limitations related to geographic coverage and observation duration, thus recommending further research with a broader scope and longitudinal approaches to deepen the understanding of SIMS sustainability.

Abstract

The density of shipping activities today, every ship must have machinery that is always in good condition. Therefore, the implementation of maintenance on every machinery on the ship is very important. However, according to reality, many machinists or engineers do not pay attention to the importance of maintenance on machinery. The machinery maintenance system or Plan Maintenance System (PMS) is a routine maintenance schedule for existing machinery on the ship so that its condition remains optimal. Researchers took the title of this study because they wanted to increase their understanding of the importance of routine maintenance of machinery on ships so that the machinery continues to work optimally. Researchers developed from the importance of maintenance and associated with the application of informatics techniques so that researchers wanted to design an application that functions for an android-based Plan Maintenance System information system that can be used as a maintenance reminder and engine maintenance results. Researchers used the Research and Development method to complete the research conducted with the development of Borg and Gall with the development of 10 steps, but researchers only took 9 steps because researchers did not make products in bulk. The 9 steps are the potential problem stage, information gathering, initial product design, product trial I, product revision I, design validation, product revision II, product trial II, and final product finalisation. The results of the research on making the android-based Plan Maintenance System information system application can be done using all types of computers that have Native Script installed to do the application coding process. This Plan Maintenance System application can be used by cadets of the Semarang Polytechnic of Shipping Science and Engineers who are on board as a means of knowledge and as an information system regarding maintenance of machinery spare parts
