Abstract

This study examined the role of information systems in supporting digital transformation in oil palm plantations using a systematic literature review (SLR). Despite the increasing adoption of digital technologies, the strategic integration of information systems in plantation management remains limited. The review was conducted by searching three major scientific databases Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar for articles published between 2020 and 2025. A total of 127 articles were initially identified, of which nine studies were selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, including relevance to oil palm plantations, focus on information systems, and methodological rigor. The quality of the selected articles was assessed using a structured evaluation framework to ensure reliability. The results showed that 89% of the reviewed studies reported significant improvements in operational efficiency and data accuracy, while 78% highlighted enhanced decision-making supported by information systems. Web-based and integrated systems were the most commonly implemented technologies, appearing in 67% of the studies, particularly for data integration, monitoring, and reporting. However, 56% of the studies identified human resource limitations and 44% reported system integration issues and organizational resistance as major barriers. The study concluded that information systems serve not only as operational tools but also as strategic enablers of sustainable digital transformation in oil palm plantations, emphasizing the need for integrated systems and strong organizational support.

Abstract

Metode Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI) dapat dikembangkan dengan menggunakan sistem informasi. Menghitung kebutuhan tenaga perawat dengan mengubah satuan hari dengan minggu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan metode persatuan perawat nasional Indonesia information system dalam perhitungan tenaga perawat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif dengan design quasy eksperiment, sampel dalam penelitian ini 30 orang perawat, 15 untuk kelompok yang diberikan intervensi dan 15 kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tehnik observasi untuk mengukur kecepatan perawat dalam mengerjakan perhitungan kebutuhan tenaga perawat. Data dianalisis statistik deskriptif dan diuji menggunakan Mann whitney test. diperoleh nilai mean kelompok kontrol 4.27 sedangkan kelompok intervensi 1.47 dengan (Z: -3,742) dengan signifikan 0.000. Metode PPNI information system dapat meningkatkan kecepatan perhitungan kebutuhan perawat.

Abstract

Background: Pre-eclampsia is a very serious medical condition that can affect around 3-5% of pregnancies. More than 35,000 maternal deaths each year worldwide are caused by preeclampsia.Method: The authors identify studies that explain the effect of health information about knowledge about preeclampsia from several databases namely PubMed, ProQuest, EBSCO. Searches are limited to studies published in English and present data for the 2010-2020 period. The identified study was reviewed using PRISMA Flowchart. Studies with related quantitative designs about the effect of health information and risk factors for preeclampsia preeclampsia are selected for review.Results: as many as eight articles reviewed were found with two sub-themes, namely the factors causing preeclampsia, namely age, parity, obesity and a history of hypertension and health information about preeclampsia.Conclusion: All impacts related to the occurrence of the risk of preeclampsia can cause an increase in maternal and infant morbidity. Therefore, due to the many factors that can cause preeclampsia, it is recommended that all women, especially in developing countries, routinely check for pregnancy or integrated ANC in existing health facilities and health workers always provide information related to the risks and impacts that occur if the mother experiences preeclampsia.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is critical to employee retention, particularly in the information technology (IT) industry. This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction and employee retention in an IT company in the Philippines. Using a descriptive-correlational research design, data were gathered from 99 IT professionals from an IT company using a convenience sampling technique. An adapted questionnaire formatted in Google Forms was used and distributed through email and Messenger to the respondents from January 29 to 31, 2025. Using Jamovi statistical software, data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and Pearson’s correlation analysis. Findings revealed that employees are generally satisfied with working with an IT company, contributing to their retention. The findings further revealed that compensation, career advancement opportunities, and supervisory support had the strongest correlations with employee retention, confirming that financial stability, growth prospects, and effective leadership play critical roles in workforce sustainability. Although workplace relationships and job content contributed positively to job satisfaction, their impact on retention was relatively weaker, indicating that either social bonds or the nature of work may not entirely prevent employee turnover. The proposed strategies by the researchers are suggested as a guide to further improve job satisfaction and employee retention in the subject IT company. This study can be a reference for IT companies and other organizations with highly skilled workforces that prioritize employee satisfaction and adopt holistic retention strategies that include financial and career advancement possibilities

Abstract

The development of Information Systems has made information a primary necessity while also transforming the role of managers in organizational management. With advances in information technology, operational activities have become more accurate and timely, enabling managers to analyze their performance more easily. Initially, Management Information Systems (MIS) did not involve technology, but over time, MIS has become inseparable from technology. MIS has increasingly garnered attention, especially in the fields of education and business.  One of the main components in operating an information system is human resources, or brainware. Brainware plays a crucial role as the designer, operator, and user of computer systems and is responsible for managing hardware and software to produce the required information. The concept of a computer as a unified system consists of three inseparable elements: hardware, software, and brainware, which support each other. Without any of these elements, the system cannot function optimally. Management Information Systems integrate their components to provide relevant and timely information. This information comprises processed data that supports decision-making and achieving organizational goals. Generally, information systems include communication, routine transactions, management, and information required by an organization’s internal and external parties.

Abstract

This study discusses the Educational Management Information System (EMIS), which is a combination of three main components: system, information, and management. A system is defined as a group of interacting elements to achieve a common goal, while information is data that has been processed into a more meaningful and useful form for decision-making. Management refers to the process of managing resources to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. In the context of education, EMIS serves to collect, process, and disseminate information needed in the educational management process. Furthermore, EMIS also plays an important role in the planning, control, and evaluation of educational activities. With this system, education managers can make more accurate and data-based decisions, thereby improving the overall quality of education. This study emphasizes the importance of applying information technology in educational management to support the development of a better education system.

Abstract

SMP PGRI Bengkulu City is one of the schools in Bengkulu Province. In the process of managing academic data, most of them are still done manually and have also used office application packages in managing data, namely Microsoft Excel. The problem that often occurs is the absence of an integrated system that is able to manage academic data as a whole, so that data management takes a long time. The Academic Administration Information System for Junior High School (SMP) PGRI Bengkulu City was created using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The features contained in the Academic Information System are operator data processing, student data, teacher data, class data, subject data, student grade data, teacher data recap, student data recap, subject data recap per class, grade recap per subject. In this academic information system, there are 3 access rights, namely Operator, Teacher, and Student, each of which has different features. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the Academic Information System at the PGRI Bengkulu City Junior High School (SMP) has been running as it should.

Abstract

Information Systems are important because they produce information and help make decisions so that their intelligence and abilities can be the same as humans. the writer wants to design an Information System in the Correctional Institution which is a coaching institution for prisoners but the system used is still a Manual, especially for visiting Section where this system still has many obstacles, so the writer wants to research and assist officers by making a JAVA application about the information system for visiting prisoner in Prison class IIA of Bengkulu which aims to save time and find out information from guest visits to prisoners so that they consider to data collection. This information system is designed using a JAVA application with MySQL database in XAMPP, the application program used is Net Beans which is a container in making various programs where net beans IDE is also Open Source and this system uses a method that describes what data the existence and explanation of a picture or incident regarding guest visits to prisoners in Prison Class IIA of Bengkulu. The result of this research is an integrated information system with Prison Class IIA of Bengkulu, involving the Admin and Employees to input the data that has been obtained which will be processed by the system and produce a Prisoner Data Report and Guest Data Report.

Abstract

Utilization of technology has been widely used in various fields, namely education, government agencies, banking, trade, industry, and national defense in meeting the needs of their work activities. an organization that meets the needs of daily transaction processing, supports operations, is managerial and strategic activities of an organization, and provides certain outside parties with the necessary reports. University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu, already has a website-based personnel information system. so the author tries to develop from 2 aspects. Where is the first aspect on the server, the author tries to develop a server application using codeigniter combined with AJAX so that it is easier to connect it with JSON encode. The purpose of this study is to provide information on employees and lecturers at the University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu which can help the personnel department provide information more quickly and efficiently. It is hoped that the development of this application can be a reference not only for the world of university staffing but also for all subjects and all circles as the development of information technology..

Research conducted at the Musi Rawas District Police can conclude that the resulting system can make it easier for admins to process criminal data and can make it easier for leaders to find out the level of crime that occurred.
