Abstract

Mutual cooperation (gotong royong) is a social practice that persists in rural communities and plays a crucial role in maintaining solidarity and managing shared interests. The success of communal mutual cooperation activities is inseparable from the communication process, particularly in conveying information to community members. This study aims to examine the patterns of information delivery in communal mutual cooperation activities related to the management of previously abandoned land in rural areas. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observation and interviews with community leaders and community members. The results indicate that information is delivered through a combination of oral communication, community meetings, informal communication, and the use of simple digital communication media such as WhatsApp groups. Community leaders play a central role as primary communicators, conveying information with a familial and persuasive approach using regional and traditional languages. This information delivery pattern fosters better understanding and increases community member participation in communal mutual cooperation activities. This research demonstrates that communication based on local wisdom plays a crucial role in encouraging community participation and supporting social change at the rural community level.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe focus of this study is to assess the roles of information technology, investment literacy, social influence, and perceived value in shaping investment interest, as well as to examine the moderating role of perceived value in these relationships. The study population consists of Generation Z individuals in East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency, who have been investing for at least one year. A total of 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. This study employs a quantitative approach and uses path analysis conducted with SmartPLS version 4.0. The results show that investment literacy, social influence, information technology, and perceived value all have positive and significant effects on investment interest. Furthermore, perceived value moderates the relationships between investment literacy and investment interest, as well as between social influence and investment interest. However, perceived value does not moderate the relationship between information technology and investment interest. This study is limited to Generation Z investors in East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency, who have been investing for at least one year. Therefore, the findings cannot be generalized to other geographical areas or age groups. The findings provide valuable insights for stakeholders regarding the influence of information technology, investment literacy, and social factors on Generation Z's investment interest through perceived value. These results may support the development of more targeted strategies and policies, such as strengthening digitally driven financial literacy programs, enhancing transparency and investor protection, and leveraging social media platforms and investment communities as channels for investment education.ABSTRAKFokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai peran teknologi informasi, literasi investasi, pengaruh sosial, dan nilai yang dirasakan terhadap minat investasi, serta peran nilai yang dirasakan dalam skenario ini sebagai variabel moderasi. Abstract

Abstract. Haruna B, Yunarti, Zam W. 2026. Integrated institutional model and API-based information system for seaweed agribusiness governance in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Asian J Agric 10 (1): g100170. https://doi.org/10.13057/asianjagric/g100170. This study aimed to strengthen the governance of the seaweed agribusiness value chain in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, by developing an integrated institutional model and API-based information system. Preliminary analysis shows that the value chain is still characterized by information asymmetry, the dominance of intermediaries in market access, weak coordination between actors, and the lack of digital recording and consistent quality standards. This condition increases the cost of information, negotiation, and monitoring, and limits the bargaining position of farmers. The research uses a qualitative case study approach through in-depth interviews, FGD, document analysis, and expert validation. The data is thematically analyzed to map the actors, governance relationships, and main sources of transaction costs. The results of the analysis were used to design a new institutional model that strengthens the role of cooperatives and farmer groups as nodes for coordination, data consolidation, and collective negotiation, while improving working relationships with local governments, financial institutions, exporters, and universities. The model is operationalized through an API-based information system that supports data exchange, production recording, market demand, and documentation of transactions between actors. Validation is carried out through simulation-based functional testing of key operational scenarios, including production recording, market demand delivery, harvest ordering, and data synchronization between authorized users. The test results showed that the system was able to run key process flows consistently and provide a more transparent digital footprint for coordination needs. In agribusiness, this design has the potential to increase marketing certainty, assist production planning based on demand, accelerate coordination between sectors, and reduce farmers' reliance on informal information. Theoretically, these findings suggest that digitalization for smallholders will be more effective if it is accompanied by institutional restructuring, not just technology adoption. The developed system has achieved functional feasibility as the basis for pilot implementation and advanced field evaluation in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

The fashion sector confronts progressively intricate issues in the contemporary digital world. Swiftly evolving fashion microtrends require enterprises to adopt stringent inventory and supply chain management practices to maintain competitiveness. Toko Samanda, a fashion retail establishment, faces immediate consequences of these micro-trends, including ineffective inventory management, intuition-driven restocking, and manual recording inaccuracies that lead to overstocking. As a result, increased warehouse inventory risks diminishing market appeal, thereby decreasing selling value. Progress in information technology underscores the need for effective inventory management, especially for small enterprises such as Toko Samanda, which hitherto relied on manual record-keeping. This research aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system using the First In First Out (FIFO) method to optimize stock management. The researcher utilized the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology to construct the system. The system's functionality includes managing data for employees, categories, items, suppliers, and customers, processing procurement and sales transactions, and generating inventory reports. System testing through Black-box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), using Toko Samanda's personnel, resulted in a satisfaction rate of 95.19% (Grade A). The application of the FIFO approach efficiently governs the movement of items, improves accuracy and processing velocity, and facilitates more informed management decision-making.
