Abstract

Social rehabilitation is an effort within the provision of social welfare that must be fulfilled as a right for persons with mental disabilities (PwMD), as stipulated in various social policy documents. Several forms of services can be provided within social rehabilitation, including residential-based rehabilitation, community-based rehabilitation, and institutional settings such as correctional facilities. The UILS program emerges as an alternative form of community-based social rehabilitation that aims to address the complex problems experienced by persons with mental disabilities. This article examines the implementation of social rehabilitation carried out by UILS institutions using a literature review research method. The databases used in this study were Google Scholar and Publish or Perish. The results of the review indicate that UILS institutions have implemented various activities in the context of social rehabilitation, particularly for persons with mental disabilities. However, several obstacles remain in its implementation that hinder the success of social rehabilitation and the achievement of independence among persons with mental disabilities. These challenges are related to the less optimal role of institutions, the absence of clear indicators, and barriers within the community environment.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a digital communication ethics framework by transposing the classical Sufi model of Takhalli (cleansing), Tahalli (beautifying), and Tajalli (manifestation) from Imam Al-Ghazali and Imam Al-Jailani. In the contemporary cyber era, conventional legal-structural and techno-centric paradigms function merely as reactive, external controls that fail to address the psychological motives behind information disorder. This study benefits digital society by shifting the mitigation paradigm from reactive containment to internal, preventive self-regulation. Methodologically, this study adopts an interpretivist paradigm using a qualitative critical literature review integrated with Gadamerian Philosophical Hermeneutics. The results demonstrate that the framework operates as a closed-loop cybernetic system. Specifically, Takhalli purges kizb, hasad, and riya’. This qualifies Tahalli to implement two-tiered behavioral interventions via Sidq and Rahmah. Ultimately produces Tajalli—manifesting as “Digital Ihsan” anchored by Digital Muraqabah. Although platform anonymity poses structural limitations at the cyber-deindividuation threshold, this model permanently breaks the supply chain of toxic information.

Abstract

Financial communication plays an important role in conveying global economic information that influences investor perceptions and market behavior. Among the most prominent forms of financial information are changes in global commodity prices, particularly oil and gold prices, which serve as information signals for investment decision-making. This study examines the relationship between global commodity price information and Indonesian stock market dynamics using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach. Annual data covering the period 1990–2025 were employed to investigate both long-run and short-run relationships among oil prices, gold prices, and the Indonesian stock market. The Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test indicates that all variables are integrated of order one, while the Bounds Test confirms the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship. The long-run estimation results reveal that oil price information has a positive and statistically significant effect on stock market dynamics, whereas gold price information has a negative but statistically insignificant effect. In the short run, contemporaneous changes in gold prices do not significantly affect stock market performance, while lagged changes in gold prices have a positive and significant effect. The error correction term is negative and statistically significant, indicating a rapid adjustment toward long-run equilibrium following short-run disturbances. These findings suggest that investors respond differently to commodity-based information signals depending on the type and timing of information received. This study contributes to the interdisciplinary field of financial communication by highlighting how global commodity price information is reflected in stock market dynamics and investor responses.

Abstract

Waste management remains a crucial issue in various regions, including Sumbawa. KSM Jameela Brang Biji took the initiative to manage waste through a garbage alms program. However, the processes of recording, managing donor data, and reporting are still conducted manually, making them prone to errors, lacking transparency, and highly inefficient. Therefore, this research aims to design and build a website-based Garbage Alms Management Information System using the Laravel framework to facilitate KSM Jameela's operations. The software development applies the Agile Scrum method, which allows for quick iterations and adaptation to user needs. This system was built using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. Software quality testing was conducted using the Black Box method to ensure all feature functionalities operate according to specifications, and the White Box method to evaluate the internal logical structure of the code. The research results indicate that the developed system successfully digitalizes the garbage alms management process, ranging from donor registration and waste transaction recording to real-time report generation. In conclusion, the implementation of this system is proven to significantly improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and management transparency, thereby supporting KSM Jameela in optimizing the garbage alms program and encouraging broader community participation.

Abstract

The development of social media has transformed mothers’ behavior in accessing child health information. The increasing use of social media as a health information source highlights the importance of digital health literacy in evaluating the credibility and quality of digital health information. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between mothers’ digital health literacy and the utilization of social media as a source of child health information. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Article searches were conducted through Scopus, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink using keywords related to digital health literacy, social media, mothers, and child health information. The reviewed articles were published between 2020 and 2025 and selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria according to the PICO framework. A total of 10 articles meeting the eligibility criteria were analyzed using thematic synthesis techniques. The findings indicated that mothers with higher levels of digital health literacy were more capable of evaluating the credibility of health information, comparing multiple information sources, and critically utilizing social media for child healthcare decision-making. In contrast, lower digital health literacy increased the risk of exposure to health misinformation on social media. This study concludes that digital health literacy has an important relationship with the utilization of social media as a source of child health information. The findings provide important implications for developing digital health literacy education programs to support safer and evidence-based use of social media in child healthcare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal audit and accounting information systems on the financial management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) with the internal control system as a moderating variable in BUMDes in Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study were all BUMDes managers in Kabila Bone District consisting of commissioners, supervisors, directors, secretaries, and treasurers of BUMDes. The research sample consisted of 32 respondents determined using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS version 4 application. The results of the study indicate that internal audit has a positive and significant effect on BUMDes financial management. The accounting information system also has a positive and significant effect on BUMDes financial management. The internal control system is unable to moderate the effect of internal audit on BUMDes financial management, so it is categorized as homologizer moderation. Conversely, the internal control system significantly moderates the effect of the accounting information system on BUMDes financial management, thus representing pure moderation. The findings of this study indicate that the success of BUMDes financial management is influenced not only by internal audits and accounting information systems but also by the effectiveness of the internal control system in strengthening the implementation of the accounting information system.

Abstract

Digital transformation in village governance has emerged as a strategic imperative for enhancing public service quality, administrative efficiency, transparency, and accountability at the local government level. Within this context, the Village Information System (VIS) serves as a critical instrument for supporting data-driven governance and citizen-oriented service delivery. However, the successful development and implementation of VIS are influenced not only by technological infrastructure but also by leadership capacity and organizational readiness. This study aims to examine the leadership strategies employed by the Head of Jia Village, Sape District, Bima Regency, in the development of the Village Information System. A qualitative case study approach was adopted, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving village officials, VIS operators, representatives of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and community members. Data were analyzed using an interactive model comprising data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal that the Head of Jia Village adopted adaptive, participatory, and service-oriented leadership strategies to facilitate VIS development. These leadership practices were manifested across five dimensions of public service quality: (1) tangibles, reflected in the provision of digital infrastructure and supporting service facilities; (2) reliability, demonstrated through efforts to strengthen the competence and professionalism of village officials; (3) responsiveness, evidenced by the ability to address community needs promptly through both conventional and digital communication channels; (4) assurance, reflected in the enhancement of trust, service ethics, and institutional credibility; and (5) empathy, demonstrated through citizen-centered service approaches that prioritize accessibility and inclusiveness. Despite these achievements, VIS utilization remains suboptimal due to limited levels of digital literacy among community members, resulting in a continued preference for face-to-face service interactions. This study concludes that leadership plays a pivotal role in advancing digital transformation within village governance. The effectiveness of VIS development depends not only on technological readiness but also on the capacity of local leaders to integrate digital innovation with human resource development and community participation. The findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on digital governance and rural leadership by highlighting the significance of adaptive and transformational leadership in sustaining digitalization initiatives at the village level.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital platforms has transformed information governance by shifting communication processes from traditional gatekeeping to algorithmically mediated systems. Although Article 28F of the 1945 Constitution guarantees the right to information, Indonesia’s digital regulatory framework has not adequately addressed challenges arising from algorithmic opacity, informational asymmetry, and concentrated platform power. Existing studies primarily focus on data protection, regulatory compliance, and comparative legal reform, while the constitutional implications of platform-based communication remain underexplored. This study aims to reconstruct Indonesia’s digital communication law to strengthen constitutional protection of the right to information in the platform era. Using a doctrinal legal research method, the study applies statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches to analyze the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and Ministerial Regulation Number 5 of 2020 as amended by Regulation Number 10 of 2021. The findings reveal four major deficiencies: fragmented regulation, the absence of algorithmic accountability standards, inadequate protection against deceptive digital design practices, and a predominantly command-and-control regulatory paradigm. The study proposes a rights-based reconstruction model grounded in digital constitutionalism, algorithmic accountability, and informational justice.

Abstract

The massive development of information technology has ushered in an era of information disruption, presenting complex challenges for Islamic educational institutions in managing their institutional image and maintaining public trust. Objective: This study aims to analyze digital communication-based Public Relations (PR) strategies in building public trust (digital trust) in madrasahs, encompassing participatory planning processes, the implementation of integrated programs, as well as evaluation and mitigation of obstacles. Method: The research approach used is qualitative with a multi-site case study design. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation at two sites, namely MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung and MTs NU Pakis. Data analysis was conducted interactively, encompassing data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: The results of the study indicate that both madrasahs successfully carried out a fundamental reconstruction of the public relations role, shifting from traditional technical-administrative functions to becoming a managerial strategic instrument. Trust within the digital community was fostered through a combination of adaptive strategies, including the participatory and inclusive formulation of communication directions, the internalization of humanistic values through a structural-cultural approach, the synchronization of social media content based on learning realities and local religious culture, and the implementation of a continuous quality improvement (CQI) based on local wisdom and the use of AI. Conclusion: The success of digital PR strategies in Islamic educational institutions depends heavily on the originality of the organizational culture, where a strong communication identity serves as a solid foundation for reputation in countering misinformation in this era of disruption.
