Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has created new opportunities for improving information management and environmental monitoring in healthcare facilities. Puskesmas Makrayu Palembang currently relies on conventional information dissemination methods, resulting in limited accessibility and inefficient information updates. This study aims to design and implement a website-based information management and environmental monitoring system using Arduino Uno as the main controller and ESP32 as the communication module. The proposed system integrates a website-based information management platform, Firebase Realtime Database, P10 LED matrix display, DHT22 temperature sensor, MQ135 air-quality sensor, and buzzer notification mechanism within a unified IoT architecture. The research adopted a system development approach consisting of literature study, field observation, system requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The implementation results demonstrated that website data synchronization, Firebase communication, ESP32 connectivity, LED matrix display operation, sensor integration, and overall system integration were successfully achieved during prototype testing. Information entered through the website could be displayed correctly on the running-text display in real time, while environmental information obtained from the DHT22 and MQ135 sensors could be processed and displayed simultaneously. The evaluation focused on functional verification of communication, synchronization, display operation, and sensor integration within a prototype environment. However, the system was evaluated only at the prototype level due to limited deployment opportunities and research time constraints, and therefore does not yet fully represent continuous operational conditions in healthcare facilities. Consequently, aspects such as long-term ESP32–Firebase communication stability, data transmission latency, system consistency under prolonged operation, and performance under high communication loads were not evaluated in this study. The proposed system nevertheless provides a practical foundation for integrated healthcare information management and environmental monitoring applications in primary healthcare facilities.

Abstract

Environmental Management Accounting Information Systems (EMAIS) have become essential infrastructure for organisations to identify, measure, and manage environmental costs in supporting sustainability objectives. However, their decision-usefulness remains limited because environmental costs are often hidden within general overhead, making the activities generating these costs unclear. Activity-Based Costing (ABC) offers a solution through activity-based cost tracing, yet its integration into EMAIS remains conceptually limited and empirically fragmented. Using previous bibliometric mapping and a theory-synthesis approach, this study develops the Activity-Based EMAIS (AB-EMAIS) framework. The framework incorporates ABC logic into the input, processing, and output layers of EMAIS architecture and expands it through artificial intelligence (AI) augmentation and governance and assurance layers. The framework produces nine testable propositions and a research agenda covering conceptual refinement, empirical validation, technological development, and contextual investigation. AB-EMAIS transforms ABC–EMAIS integration into a coherent design framework, supporting transparent, relevant, and accountable environmental cost information. The framework is particularly relevant for emerging economies advancing Sustainable Development Goal 12.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has significantly changed the way people access, obtain, and disseminate information, including religious information. Ease of access to digital platforms provides significant opportunities for religious learning, but at the same time, it also increases the spread of hoaxes, misinformation, hate speech, and religious content that contradicts the principles of religious moderation. This research used a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were collected from academic books, scientific journal articles, previous research results, and official documents related to digital literacy, digital media, and religious information. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques, which include data reduction, data presentation, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that students' digital literacy is influenced by critical thinking skills, competence in evaluating the credibility of information sources, a culture of literacy, and responsible use of digital media. Strengthening digital literacy through higher education, curriculum integration, and religious moderation education are considered effective strategies for developing students who are able to wisely filter religious information and prevent the spread of misleading information in the digital environment.

Abstract

Digital transformation in agricultural sector has accelerated the shift toward more adaptive and technology-based agricultural extension systems. Agricultural extension is a strategic role in supporting farmer group development. This study aimed to analyze the role of agricultural extension workers, the utilization of information technology, extension competency, and their relationship with the development of rice farmer groups in Teluk Kecapi Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The study employed a survey method using Simple Random Sampling techniques involving members of rice farmer groups. Data were collected through structured interviews and questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale analysis and Spearman Rank Correlation. The findings revealed that the roles of agricultural extension workers, information technology utilization, extension competency, and farmer group development were categorized as high. Extension workers were perceived as actively facilitating agricultural information dissemination, digital communication, institutional strengthening, and farmer capacity development. The results further indicated that the roles of extension workers, digital platforms, digital content, personal attributes, and extension knowledge had positive and significant relationships with farmer group development. The study highlights that the integration of extension competency and digital technology utilization constitutes a critical factor in promoting more effective, adaptive, and sustainable farmer group development. Abstract

Elections and electoral processes constitute arenas of political contestation involving various stakeholders, including political parties, election participants, election management bodies, and public participation, as constitutionally guaranteed under the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945 (UUD NRI 1945). However, this does not imply that the administration of elections and electoral processes is free from problems, as evidenced by the prevalence of corruption practices, vote manipulation, bribery, and the lack of transparency in campaign financing, which reflect the long-standing and intertwined challenges in electoral implementation. This scientific paper aims to identify, analyze, and understand the problems related to campaign finance transparency, as well as to seek ideal solutions by integrating technology through the utilization of machine learning as a decision support system. The research method employed is doctrinal legal research, with the research outcome formulated in the form of an ideal legal construction through legal reconceptualization. The recommendations proposed by the author include the necessity of conducting careful legal scrutiny through a comprehensive, sharp, and in-depth analysis of the scope, regulatory direction, and substantive content of the proposed regulations, as well as the need for synergistic and complementary coordination to support the supervision of campaign financing in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the impact of the use of the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and the Internal Control System (SPI) on fraud prevention in the management of social assistance funds at the Gorontalo Provincial Social Affairs Office. Research Method: This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal design. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to employees directly involved in the administration of social assistance, who were selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of SPSS. Results and Discussion: The research results show that the use of the DTKS does not have a significant effect on fraud prevention. These findings indicate that the existence of the DTKS is not yet capable of directly preventing fraud if data quality, updates, and verification of aid recipients are not yet optimal. In contrast, the SPI has a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention. Together, the DTKS and SPI have a significant effect on fraud prevention, with an Adjusted R² value of 0.778. Implications: Strengthening the SPI, improving the quality of DTKS data, and optimizing the verification and validation processes are necessary to support accountable and targeted social assistance management. Originality: This study positions the DTKS as a social welfare database, an information system, and an administrative verification tool for preventing fraud in the management of social assistance.

Abstract

Objective: To map the global development of research on information design in digital interfaces through the perspective of user interface (UI), user experience (UX), and usability studies. This study also examines its relevance to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure). Method: Bibliometric analysis was conducted using Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2000 and 2026. Data were retrieved using the query TITLE-ABS-KEY (“UI” AND “UX” AND (“user experience” OR usability)). Following PRISMA-guided screening, 51 articles were selected for analysis. Performance analysis and science mapping using VOSviewer were applied to identify publication trends, source contributions, and thematic structures. Results:  The findings indicate rapid growth of UI/UX research during the 2020s, with major contributions from computer science, engineering, and interdisciplinary fields. Thematic mapping shows that user experience, usability, and user interface represent the central research clusters, while design thinking and usability testing emerge as important supporting themes. Novelty: The study highlights information design as a strategic component in sustainable digital development. Effective interface structures support SDG 4 by improving accessibility and comprehension in digital learning environments, while supporting SDG 9 through the development of inclusive and human-centered digital infrastructure. The findings provide directions for future research on accessibility, usability evaluation, and sustainable interface design.

Abstract

Information system quality testing is a critical factor in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate business operations. This study aims to implement and evaluate software quality based on the ISO/IEC 25010 international standard within the E-Office (Digital Archive) operational applications of PT Snapdev Digital Indonesia. Quality testing is comprehensively conducted across eight main characteristics: Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, Compatibility, Usability, Reliability, Security, Maintainability, and Portability. The research methodology employs a quantitative descriptive approach using a structured questionnaire distributed to active users. Through purposive sampling, a final sample size of 27 active respondents was established. The empirical results show that the percentage scores for each quality aspect range from 80.00% to 86.67%, which demonstrates that the system successfully satisfies the standard software quality requirements. The overall average score of 83.56% places the system quality in the "Very Good" category. This outcome indicates that the system possesses efficient performance, strong security and reliability, ease of use, and adaptability across various environments. However, a minor area of improvement in security is identified to ensure optimal system protection. In conclusion, the implemented information system is highly suitable for supporting corporate operational needs and complies with international software engineering quality standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the General Procurement Plan Information System (SIRUP) in supporting procurement planning and transparency at Bawaslu Surabaya during the non-election period. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review involving key informants from the procurement management unit. The findings reveal that SIRUP has enhanced administrative order, facilitated procurement monitoring, and improved public access to procurement information, thereby strengthening transparency and accountability. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited human resources, frequent budget revisions requiring data updates, and technical system issues. The study concludes that strengthening operator capacity and improving digital infrastructure are essential to optimize SIRUP implementation and sustain good governance within election oversight institutions.
